I have never seen a medical doctor who is the one
going about houses asking if there is any sick person to be treated (maybe a
quack). It is the responsibility of the sick person to go find the doctor. The scripture
says in Matt 9:12b that, “They that be whole need not a physician, but they
that are sick.” It is the person who needs help that must come to the one that
can help him/her. Jesus said in Matt 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour
and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
In order words, whatever the case is, bring it to
Jesus, He’s got you covered. The command is to ALL that labour and heavy laden.
Christ could be referred to as a refugee camp. He is a welcoming post for all; troubled,
sick, indebted, dying, sinful, frustrated, confused, depressed, discouraged,
hopeless, wearied, worried, tired, unemployed, unfruitful, etc. When the woman
caught in the middle of adultery was brought to Jesus, the folks who brought
her were expecting some kind of judgment but they forgot that Jesus came
purposely because of those laboring and heavy laden.
Jesus came not because He needs help but to help us.
Isa 53:5 says, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for
our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes
we are healed.” 2 Cor 8:9 says, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus
Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye
through his poverty might be rich.” However, you must play your part by coming
to Him because He said in John 6:37b that, “and him that cometh to me I will in
no wise cast out.”
Jesus has all power in heaven and on earth (Matt
28:18). He’s got the power to heal, deliver, promote, market, prosper and give
you your heart desires but you must come to Him.
Bible says ye have not ‘cos ye ask not! Selah!
