Assuming you were recruited into a company and your
job description wasn’t clarified, I am sure you would agree with me that
anything goes. The manager could call you today and ask you to clean, tomorrow
you would be asked to do clerical assistance work and next tomorrow, wash the
car. However, if your job description was clearly defined when joining that
organization, you would be clear as to what you need to do.
There is a reason why you are here on earth but if
you don’t know it, you would be living life anyhow. The reason why many people
live life on a trial and error basis is because they have not taken time to ask
why they are here. The moment you have an answer to that question, life becomes
interesting and fulfilling. As a matter of truth, to perform at your peak as
God’s special handiwork, you must know why God has placed you here.
God told Jeremiah in Jer 1:5 that, “Before I formed
thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I
sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” If Jeremiah
had tried becoming a minstrel, he would have missed it in life. Take time out
to ask your Maker why He has put you here on earth, so you can enjoy life.
Be wise.
