If I go on air today and say, “I declare next week
Monday a public holiday in Nigeria,” it won’t make any meaning to most people.
I am sure my wife would become very worried. On the other hand, if the
President of Nigeria says the same thing, “I declare next week Monday a public
holiday in Nigeria,” it becomes done deal. So what is the difference, even when
the statements are same?
Most times in life, it is not what is been said that
matters, but who is saying it. Unfortunately, most believers focus on the
statement and not the ‘sayer’. Bible says in Lam 3:37 that, “Who is he that
saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?” In other words,
any other statement apart from what God has said or saying is total and
absolute heresy.
I don’t care what the doctors have told you about
your medical condition, God said by the stripes of Jesus, you WERE healed –
meaning, even before sickness came, healing existed. Stop listening to what man
is saying and start hearing what God is saying, because faith comes by hearing
and hearing by the word of God and not the word of man.
Enjoy!
