I have said it countless numbers of times that you
have a glorious destiny before you. Your future and destiny is what no man has
ever seen, heard or ever witnessed before, but you need to be aware of our
adversary the devil, who is busy going about seeking for whom he may devour.
Your first line of defense from the devil is your purity. The devil is a weak
person without sin. Jesus said in John 14:30b that, “for the prince of this
world cometh, and hath nothing in me.”
Samson was a very powerful man, blessed of the Lord
and a carrier of the Spirit of God. He was a man that in present days could be
referred to as one man battalion. But the moment he engaged in adultery, he
lost it. He died a nobody. For that kind of person, his burial ceremony must
have been a national agenda, but it was only his people that took his corpse
and just buried him. The purpose of sin is to disconnect you from God. The
moment you sign up for a life of sin, be rest assured you just signed up for a
time of struggle and pains.
It is a loaded year. It has employment opportunities
in it. It is a year the barren would sing for joy. It is a year the poor would
swim in abundance. It is a year the lowly would be crowned king. What is in
stock for you is what the eyes have never seen before, but you need to do what
the ordinary man wouldn’t do, which is doing away with sin. I live you with
this, “The price of dignity is purity.”
