I don’t know if you have ever seen people hawking
medications said to be able to cure headache, catarrh, fever, pile and all
sort. They always call it general purpose medication. As a believer, I need us
to know that the Name of Jesus is a package that contains whatever you desire –
ANYTHING! That is why Jesus said in John 14:14 that, “If ye shall ask any thing
in my name, I will do it.” In John 16:23, He said again, “Whatsoever ye shall
ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.”
This understanding made Peter shine in Acts 3 when
the lame man at the temple gate asked for alms. Peter just quickly tapped into
the potency of the Name of Jesus, and the Bible records it that the man
received his healing on the spot. No wonder Phil 2:9&11 tells us that the
name of Jesus makes principalities, powers and tongues bow. This is so because,
the whole names of Jehovah in the Old Testament are being packaged in the name
of Jesus.
There is healing, promotion, prosperity, salvation,
redemption, deliverance and dominion in the Name of Jesus. All you need do is
to call Him into your situation and it will be taken care of because, there is
nothing called difficult when Jesus is involved.
