The beauty of a cake is the decoration. Can you
imagine going it’s your wedding and the cake person decides not to decorate,
how would you feel? Like you should own a gun, right? Well, the beauty of all
of these principles (Praying, Believing and Staying calm) is when you do one
thing and that thing is refusal to doubt. Doubt is a natural thing especially
in this world of ours where parents doubt kids and citizens doubt the
government. If we doubt people we can see, how much more the God we cannot see.
That therefore means that praying, believing and
staying calm, but with some bits of doubt in you, will limit you. Jas 1:6-7
says, “For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and
tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.”
The opposite of doubt is faith. You cannot believe God for a job and yet be
complaining of the level of joblessness in the nation. No! Out of the abundance
of the heart, the mouth speaks, so your belief is what you say out.
Please I beg of you, you are permitted to doubt men
(we all need help), but don’t you ever doubt God because with Him, nothing
shall be impossible.
