THE DREAMER COMETH

November 24, 2013

We all have various issues and challenges that we are battling with on a daily basis. Each day has its own level of challenges it carries; financial; emotional, marital, educational and all. No one lives a perfect life; the only difference is the way we all respond to whatever comes our way. In the middle of adversity, some of us develop wings and fly, while some go for crutches.

Uncle Joseph was the eleventh son of his father and as the scripture put it, he was his father’s favorite. One day he went to them and said, “I had a dream and I saw that we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.”

His brothers hated him, sold him to exile and many things happened to him for bad, but one thing that Joseph did not do, was to allow his challenges and physical circumstances extinguish his dream. Even while in the prison, he kept doing his dream. And because, God is a faithful God who is always ready to support to him that won’t let go of his/her dream no matter what, He promoted Joseph beyond his own imagination.

When you have a dream from God, you are certain that whatever situation or circumstance you are passing through is for a while. You have the conviction that, “this one too shall soon pass.” Bible says in Heb 12:2 that, Jesus, for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame. At a point, Jesus was almost going to say that, “Lord, I am tired,” but the moment He thought about the glory ahead, He kept on going on.

I am come to tell someone today that it doesn’t matter how rough the road is right now, keep pressing on, don’t throw away that dream, because dreams come true and that include yours.
