There is no
one on this planet earth that doesn’t want to be great. Everyone and I mean
everyone is working tirelessly just to become great at what they do. Now listen
to me, if you are looking for greatness, stand in front of a mirror and look at
the image you see in there – that’s greatness in person. You have greatness on
the inside of you.
How did I know
that you have greatness in you? God told our Father Abraham in Gen 12:2 that, “And
I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great;
and thou shalt be a blessing.” Because whatever God says He does even to
generations yet unborn, in Gen 26:13, Bible says, “And the man (Isaac – Abraham’s
son) waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great.” Isaac
enjoyed greatness as a result of his father’s covenant.
You are a
seed of Abraham as such, exceeding greatness lies on the inside of you. Sir, no
matter your present position, you have greatness on the inside of you. To
confirm this statement, the scripture says in 1 Peter 2:9 that, “But ye (as in
you) are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar
people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of
darkness into his marvelous light.”
Don’t worry
when people misunderstand you. Joseph was misunderstood. Lord Jesus was
misunderstood. “To be great is to be misunderstood,” said Ralph Waldo Emerson,
but please don’t let their misunderstanding of your person affect your
conviction and confession. As for me, I don’t care if you were not born with a
spoon talk less a silver spoon, I am so convinced that you shall eat with a
golden and diamond spoon because greater is He that is on the inside of you
than he that’s in the world.
