THE TONGUE – PART 2

                                                             January 8, 2013

“Calling those things which be not as though they were”, “calling those things which do not exist as though they did”. Romans 4:17.

Your words have power. In the spiritual world, they are containers of power, a storeroom of authority that can change your life, direct your future, and allow you get in line with the will of God for your life.

The tongue could also be used in speaking the word of faith concerning any situation. A popular saying has it that “Confession brings Possession”. In order for the Power of God to cause what God has promised you to manifest in the natural realm, you must speak or confess His word. Your tongue should be used in speaking words that will nourish your faith.

Joel 3:10c says “Let the weak say I am strong”. The Bible is trying to teach us to always confess what we want to see rather than confessing what we can see. Perhaps things aren’t rosy the way you want them to be, speak rosiness into them. Maybe you are being called a barren, stop confessing barrenness; God’s word says “none shall be barren in the land”. Use your tongue to speak your desire into existence. Speak God’s promises always, irrespective of what you might be going through.

In this year, my prayer for you is that the Almighty God will honor your words in Jesus Name.

A WORD OF CAUTION; GOD WILL HONOR YOUR WORDS, SO BEWARE WHAT YOU SAY!
