DIVINE RESTORATION

Few years ago, the government of Nigeria announced that she had been short paying school teachers and as such something needed to be done. The salary upgrade was done and arrears were paid to all teachers. I am sure the amount that the teachers got was much because some bought cars while some built houses.

I know of someone that finished from the university with a first class. However, this brother was jobless for almost four years. He wrote several applications and had attended several interviews, all to no avail. One afternoon, after returning from his job search expedition, he got a call to come to a particular office. To cut the long story short, he was offered employment with employment date dated back to three months, meaning he was going to get paid for three months, even though he did not work those three months. He said the three months salary was enough to bring him to normalcy (na gbemun).

Joe_2:25  says And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Always have it at the back of your mind that God can and will restore unto you no matter what you have lost. He restored that child (prodigal son) to his father.

Job was a man that ordinarily things were over for him. If his case happened in this computer age, maybe his two friends would have even killed him or Job would have killed himself to avoid further embarrassment. But he held on knowing full well that God was able to restore back unto him all the devil has stolen.

What is it that you have lost? It took God just one night to restore the Israelites back to normalcy after years of slavery. Your case is not different because He is the same God yesterday, today and forevermore.

My prayer for you today is that everything glorious that the devil has stolen from you shall be restored unto you this month in Jesus Name. Amen!
