The
secret to having your prayers answered is to pray God’s will – which is God’s
word. For everything and anything that you desire from God, there is a
scripture that addresses it. Search out that scripture and pray it.
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of
God. Jokingly I always advise people to watch the kind of songs they listen to.
If all you listen to every morning is “owo won lode” meaning money is scarce in
town, then you can never have it.
If all you do is spend most
of your time during the day listening to people with very solid view as to why
you cannot make it in the place where you are, I tell you, no matter how hard
you work, making it will be so difficult.
All things are possible.
Never forget that.
You need to empower your
faith to empower your life.
Pay very close attention to
the kind of things you listen to. Be careful as to what you feed on. If all you
listen to is stories of evil, calamities, death etc, then faith goes away and
fear sets in.
Addictively read the word of
God. Speak the word of God. Think the word of God. That way, you will be able
to believe God for what He has written in His word.
Cut every communication with
anyone that is fond of always loading you with negative reports.
If what you hear everyday
won’t make you, it will break you.
Wipe off all songs on your
phone that only tell you that “igboro ti daru”; “oko won lode”; “stupidity is
taken over me” etc. Cultivate the habit
of always feeding your spirit with edifying things.
I pray as you start hearing
the word and promises of God from today, your life will move on to a greater
height in Jesus Name. Amen!
