DIVINE RESTORATION

Few years ago, the government of Nigeria announced that she had been short paying school teachers and as such something needed to be done. The salary upgrade was done and arrears were paid to all teachers. I am sure the amount that the teachers got was much because some bought cars while some built houses.

I know of someone that finished from the university with a first class. However, this brother was jobless for almost four years. He wrote several applications and had attended several interviews, all to no avail. One afternoon, after returning from his job search expedition, he got a call to come to a particular office. To cut the long story short, he was offered employment with employment date dated back to three months, meaning he was going to get paid for three months, even though he did not work those three months. He said the three months salary was enough to bring him to normalcy (na gbemun).

Joe_2:25  says And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Always have it at the back of your mind that God can and will restore unto you no matter what you have lost. He restored that child (prodigal son) to his father.

Job was a man that ordinarily things were over for him. If his case happened in this computer age, maybe his two friends would have even killed him or Job would have killed himself to avoid further embarrassment. But he held on knowing full well that God was able to restore back unto him all the devil has stolen.

What is it that you have lost? It took God just one night to restore the Israelites back to normalcy after years of slavery. Your case is not different because He is the same God yesterday, today and forevermore.

My prayer for you today is that everything glorious that the devil has stolen from you shall be restored unto you this month in Jesus Name. Amen!

SEALED BY GOD

To be sealed indicates a whole lot of things. One of it is that it indicates ownership. In the area of logistics, each clearing has a specific type of seal being used to lock their trucks. This separation of types of seal being used tells anybody that this truck belongs to a particular hauler.

You do not place your seal on something that does not belong to you.

In other words, a seal of God upon a man indicates that God has distinguished the man from others.

Gal_6:17  says From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

This means that you are not a normal person; Normal people fall sick, you should not. Normal people are always broke, you shouldn’t be. Normal people fail, you should succeed. Normal people do ordinary things, you should do extraordinary things.

My prayer is that God will put a seal of greatness and favor upon you in Jesus Name. Amen!

Have you ever being stopped on the road while driving by Police officers and before you could wink, another car passes by and they would not stop the driver because they see ordinary military belt on the dashboard or combatant car sticker on the windscreen of the car.

The same way policemen won’t stop these set of people, so also the devil won’t dare stop you as long as you bear the mark of Christ. In Acts 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? Even evil spirits can identify who is sealed by God and who is not.

To be sealed by God, you need to be His property. You need to belong to Him fully. You must do His will at all times. You must obey Him completely. You must most importantly serve Him. If you don’t know Christ, you will know crisis. Dedicate or rededicate as the case may be, your life to Jesus today and He will place His mark upon you.

Until you bear His mark, you will be marked for destruction by the devil.

LOOSE HIM

Have you ever seen a wild dog chained to a post? You would notice the dog pacing up and down, jumping about and trying to break free. The dog just wants to attack. But no matter how hard the dog tries, there is a chain stopping the dog from being able to be a dog that it is.

In John 11:44 , after Lazarus had come out of the grave,  he was still bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. He was not a free man yet. He could not see anyone. He could not move around, until Jesus said unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

He was a living dead.

Some people are like that. Some have been on the same spot for years. Some are neither poor nor rich. Some are not ill but also not healthy. As much as the person wants to be him or herself, there is like a barrier or hindrance stopping the person. Some take two steps forward, three steps backward.

It is not supposed to be so, but have come to tell you today that deliverance has finally come. Jer 40:4 says and now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. Friends, every chain stopping you from bringing in harvest as you are meant to is broken in Jesus Name. Amen!.

Paul and Silas were preachers. There were lot of souls to be won for Christ; numerous miracles to be wrought in His name, but they were put behind bars and both hands and feet were chained.

Acts 16:26 says And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

Every storm stopping you from moving forward cease by fire now in Jesus Name. Amen!

Everywhere and anywhere you are being chained to, the same God that broke Paul and Silas free will set you free for life in Jesus Name. Amen!

I decree you are set free from bondage in Jesus Name. Amen!

GRACE FOR GREATNESS

Few days ago, I was listening to a radio show “AY Live” by the popular comedian Ayo Makun, a.k.a AY. He started out by saying that he might not be the funniest comedian in Nigerian or even the most creative comedian in Nigeria, but where he has gotten to today has not being by his own power or knowledge, but by the grace of God.

I was seriously touched. Of a truth, that there are other comedians out there funnier than AY, but not as great as AY. Talent is never enough, grace is needed. If you like, be more talented than the word talented, without the grace of God, greatness is far from you.

The grace of God is responsible for picking a beggar from the dust of the earth to a place where kings bow down to him. It was not hard work that made God chose David over other of his brothers, it was grace.

Someone said that Grace means God in the race of a man. As long as God is involved in your race, you can never be a backbencher.

Greatness is not only by how hard you work. It is not only by how late you sleep or early you wake up. Greatness is a product of God’s grace. If the Lord does not build the house, the laborer labors in vain.

I am pretty sure that there are some people who do not know as much as you do, but you are not as great as they are.  Greatness is not by how talented you are, it is just plainly a matter of grace.

Without the grace of God, disgrace is inevitable.

When the grace of God is upon you, every little thing you do looks big. To become great in life, as much as you work very hard, plan very well, you need to understand the place of grace in your life.

Grace of God makes the race of your life great.

For a reader, I prophecy that the grace of God will take you from that low land to that higher ground in Jesus Name. Amen!
