One of the most natural thing for humans to do is to
think they have arrived after achieving a particular feat. When a man is trying
to woo a woman, if he buys her like an expensive piece of jewelry and the woman
keeps appreciating him, you would hear the man say something like, “What have I
done? All I am waiting for is for you to just agree that you will marry me and
your life will never remain the same again. I will spoil you with gifts and
money and love.” Ordinarily, this would make the woman want to say, “Yes, I do,”
on that spot, because she is assured that better stuffs are in stock for her.
As long as we remain in Christ, irrespective of the
height you have gotten to today, God has a greater plan for you. Every child of
God is a child of destiny. Gal 4:28 says, “Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are
the children of promise.” We are not just any kind of children, we are
promising, an envy to generations. 1 Cor 2:9 says, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear
heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love him.” The thoughts and plans of God for you are thoughts of
greatness and not littleness because greater is your Maker than your
circumstance.
However, 1 Cor 2:10 says, “But God hath revealed them
unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep
things of God.” You will never know the plans of God for you if you are not His
own. I can never know what Obama is planning to do in 2015 unless he tells me. The
housemaid gets excused whenever the family meeting is going on. Redemption is
what authorizes you to know the great plan God has for you and also empowers
you to achieve that greatness.
Be saved!
