Of a truth, God has the ability to give unto us our
desires without any stress, however, we need to understand that no medical
doctor goes about knocking on doors asking, “Any patient in here?” It is the
responsibility of the patient to find his way to the hospital and then he can
be attended to.
In Luke 15, the parable of a certain man that had
two sons was told. One of them went to his father to ask for his own share of
the father’s properties even when the father was still alive. He got it,
however, he wasted it and ended up penniless. After so much suffering and
toiling, he came back to his senses and said in verse 18a, “I will arise and go
to my father.” The moment he returned home, Bible says a welcome home party was
organized for him.
Deut 30:2a says, “And shalt return unto the LORD thy
God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day.”
30:9 now says as a result of thy returning to God, “And the LORD thy God will
make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and
in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the
LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers.”
Job 22:23 says, “If thou return to the Almighty,
thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.”
Verse 24 now says once you have done all these, “Then shalt thou lay up gold as
dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.” You have been
forsaken because you have refused to forsake all those acts of iniquities.
God is never far away, you are the one that is
moving away from Him. Remember the earth
is the Lord’s, so return to Him and He will make the earth yield bountiful
increase for you.
Remain blessed!
