ACT YOUR FAITH

March 15, 2014

In Mark 5:28, there was a woman who suffered greatly in the hands of many physicians, doctors, herbalists, fake prophets, etc. and had spent all that she had; sold all her expensive jewelries; sold her landed properties; obtained several bank loans; so she could be healed of 12 years non-stop flow of blood.

She needed the healing. She was always going about with sanitary towels. Am sure she ran out of cash to buy sanitary towels at a point and started using ordinary napkins. “If I only I may touch the hem of His garment, I shall be well” said the woman in her mind. She had heard about Jesus; she had seen Jesus heal; she just witnessed Jesus raising someone’s daughter from the dead. She believed so much in the healing power of Jesus Christ.

However, she did not only believe that Jesus heals, she acted on her belief. She did not stop at the point of wishing she had touched, she went ahead to touch. She touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and the flow dried up instantly. KNOWING IS BELIEF, DOING THE BELIEF IS FAITH. Faith is an action word. It is filled with power.

Faith is the oil that makes the wheel of our gate travel smoothly. It is the key that opens the door of prosperity and favor without stress. Faith is more than believing. Faith is more than thinking, talking, or having convictions about Jesus. Faith is action. It is movement; it is activity. Faith is something you do. In fact, the Bible says in James 2:14, “If people say they have faith, but do nothing, their faith is worth nothing” (NCV).

Faith acts. It does something.  Before water came out of the rock, Moses believed but he still had to hit the rock with his rod. What God needs from you to release your miracle unto you is your act of faith. Every step of faith you take from today yields wonderful and groundbreaking testimonies in Jesus Name. Amen!
