In crime movies, when a man knows too much
information, he becomes a candidate for murder just so that the info he knows
could be buried. The Bible says in John 8:32 that, “And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free.” This is an information age and the more the
info at your disposal, the better your life.
In Dan 3, the three Hebrew boys were asked to be
thrown into the fiery furnace. For any ordinary man, this threat was enough to
have shaken their faith, but they said to the king in verses 16 – 17 that, “O
Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so,
our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and
he will deliver us out of thine hand.”
In order words, they knew too much to be scared
because they understand that the scripture says in Dan 11:32b that, “but the
people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” The same way a
sheriff would harass an ordinary citizen, he won’t be able to get away with it
when dealing with a legal practitioner because the latter knows too much to be
cheated. Knowledge of the God you serve and the promises available for you in
Him and what He can do makes you stand tall no matter the trouble.
Job was in so much trouble, but he knew too much
that he was able to tell his folks, “Don’t worry, today might be bitter,
tomorrow would be better.” Sir, the solution to your frustration and confusion
is having the right information – which you can only get from the word of God.
When you are informed, no devil or demon can deform you. Start reading and
meditating on the word of God and your life would take a dramatic turnaround. Remember
that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God.
