IT IS WRONG

April 1, 2014

A woman came to Jesus in Matt 15, and the disciples asked the Master to send her away. Jesus then told the woman that it is not right to give the children’s bread to dogs. This was enough reason for the woman to walk away, but she said in verse 27, “yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.” In order words, the woman was saying, “It is wrong of me to see Jesus and remain the same.”

What is wrong is wrong no matter who is doing it. Ecc 10:5 &7 says, “There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler: I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.” It should not be so.

How can the son of a meat seller be eating bones? Does it make sense that the daughter of a fashion designer is seen in rags? Is it normal to see the child of the wealthiest man begging for bread? A friend said, “When abnormality is celebrated for too long, it becomes normal.” Hello sir/ma, in case you don’t know, the fact that something wrong is happening to unbelievers doesn’t mean it has to happen to you; you are different!

God’s greatest wish for you is to have the best. You are too blessed to be stressed. You are too favored to labor in vain. You are not to be singing the same song of defeat and failure that the unbelievers are singing. From today henceforth, understand that it is wrong to find in you what can never be found in Jesus; lack, want, failure, sin, defeat, barrenness, shame, loss, etc.

I wish you a happy and blessed new month, however, don’t forget that the year waits for no one, so keep moving, keep praying and don’t stop trusting God because it is wrong of you to end this year same way or worse than you started. YOUR STORY MUST BE DIFFERENT!

DRESS FOR SUCCESS

March 31, 2014

In 2 Kings 1, Ahaziah fell ill and sent his messengers to go and inquire of the devil; Baalzebub whether he was going to recover from that illness or not. But the angel of the Lord asked a prophet to go block those messengers and tell them that their master was not going to recover from that illness, but would die. When the messengers went back home to tell Ahaziah what they have seen, he asked them, “describe the man that told you this?”

In verse 8, they said, “He was an hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins.” Without having to google it, Ahaziah knew it was Elijah the Tishbite. I am sure you have heard that the way you dress is the way you would be addressed. Doctors don’t need introduction when seen in their lab coats.  Roadside mechanics don’t need introduction when in their uniform. A fully dressed military man in their gorgeous military regalia doesn’t have to tell you, “I am in the military,” even if the uniform was that of Boy’s Brigade, you would have taken him for a real military man.

Many of us dress for where we are instead of where we are going to. Listen to me, before people hear you speak, they would have seen your dress. One of my mentors went for a strictly by invitation event but forgot his IV at home, however, when he got to the venue and they saw his dressing, it was hard for the bouncers to turn him back. Sir, some jobseekers have lost great opportunities because of the way they dressed. I know of a brother who is due for marriage but still single. Honestly, if you see this brother dress, you would naturally assume he has given birth to three children.

As you go out each morning, dress for success. Dress modestly and corporately. Dress in such a way that your heavenly Father would be proud to say, “there goes my son/daughter.”

Blessed week ahead!

BORN TO RULE

March 30, 2014

During the Vietnam War, a newspaper columnist stated that people say God is the one running things on earth yet we have little children dying of hunger day in day out; people killing each other; women suffering and there are wars everywhere. His question was, “Do you mean God is the one running those wars?” I am sure you would agree with me that God isn’t the one causing havoc and evil because His thoughts towards us are good and not evil.

Of a truth, God made the heaven and the earth, but He has since given it over to men to rule. In the book of Genesis, Bible says after God created the heaven and the earth, He made Adam and told him in verse 28 that, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

But Adam committed treason and sold that right to Satan. Then Satan became the god of this world as stated in 2 Cor 4:4 which was why he had the guts to take Jesus to the top of the mountain and said if the King of kings would bow down and worship him, he would give unto Him the kingdoms of this world. However, Psa 8:6 says, “Thou madest him (man) to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet.”

I need you to understand that you were born to rule here on earth. Matt 18:18 says, “Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” In order words, you are in charge. Sir/ma, there is a ruler and a victor and a champion in you, call it forth. Manifest!

Have a great time in His presence!

LOVE IS ESSENTIAL

March 29, 2014

One of the vital ingredients needed to have a sweet and successful journey here on earth is love. Bible says God is love, so we are all children of a love God. We are all born of God and God is love so we are all born of love. I have come to understand that believers are meant to be the best lovers in this world because the nature of God is in them and the nature of God is love.

I understand it is sometimes difficult to love some unlovable people, but as believers, we are commanded to love. We can choose to love just those who love us but Bible says even the publicans do same. Matt 5:45 says out of love, “God maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”

When the woman caught in the midst of adultery (even though I am still wondering where the man she was committing the adultery with was) was brought to Jesus, He didn’t say, “go away you dirty sinner,” rather, He set her free because of love. As believers, I have observed that love is a mouth talk for us but never shown. If you love that brother, you won’t gossip him. If you love that sister, you won’t bury her while she’s still alive. Love supports. Love cares for. Love is compassionate.

John 13:34-35 says, “A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” Matt 5:44 says, “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”

John 14:12 says greater works than Jesus did shall we do, so lets show greater love than Jesus did.

I love you!

HONOR YOUR PARENTS

March 28, 2014

No matter how big you are today, God used the union of two people to usher you into this planet earth – your father and mother, as such, they deserve so much respect and honor. In the word of God, the only commandment that has a promise attached to it is the commandment that we should honor our fathers and mother.

Honoring one’s parents starts with obeying them. Col 3:20 says, “Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.” Bible says in Gen 28:7 that Jacob obeyed his father and mother. As a result of the obedience of that day, God blessed him so much that Gen 30:43 says, “And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.”

How well are you obeying your biological parents? How well are you obeying your spiritual parents? How well are you even obeying your heavenly Father? The one you honor, you obey. Pro 30:17 says, “The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.”

In Gen 9, a young man by the name Ham was cursed by his father because he dishonored him. Noah was so drunk that he became naked, Ham saw him and instead of covering him up, he went to call his brethren, however those ones were wise, as they went backward to cover their father’s nakedness. As a result of their act of that day, they obtained their father’s blessings.

Deut 5:16 says, “Honor thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.” Be nice to your parents; take care of them; pray for them and most importantly if they are not believers, bring them to Christ.

Remain blessed!

CONFESSION

March 27, 2014

Sometimes multitudes suffer because of one person’s iniquity. When the leader of an organization is not competent and he/she is too proud to say it out, the organization and the entire workforce would pay for it. Sometimes the reason why an entire family lineage is going through an unpleasant situation might be that one of them had done something terribly wrong and yet to confess.

In the book of Joshua 7, the children of Israel went to war against a city called Ai. However, thirty six men from Israel’s camp lost their lives and the other men fled. Bible says this made the heart of the other people melt. This was strange for Joshua so he went to inquire from God what led to that horrible scenario. In verse 11, God told Joshua Israel had sinned which was why they found it hard to stand before their enemies. Unknown to Joshua, the sin of just one man called Achan was why 36 other souls were killed.

As if that was not enough, as written in Exo 34:7 that, “The Lord is the one visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.” Achan’s sons, daughters, oxen, asses, sheep, tent and his lineage became wiped off the surface of the earth. Rom 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death.” Rom 10:10 says, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Until you confess, distress won’t cease.

What sin(s) are you trying to cover up? Have you forgotten that God is the one that sees all and knows all? Achan would have covered up and lied but he knew God was aware already. Listen, He is aware you sinned, He only wants you to ask for forgiveness. In the kingdom of God, without confession, no progression. Prov 28:13 says, “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”

Be wise!

CONSISTENCY

March 26, 2014

One of the secrets of success in life is consistency. Consistency is the act of delivering the same result over and over again. A champion is not a champion because he wins one battle, he is a champion because he is always winning battles. A car is not certified okay until it keeps delivering the same result come rain come shine. Consistency is dependability.

Acts 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Asides the fact that God was with Jesus, one of the things that Jesus did very well while here on earth was that He was consistently doing well. There was never a day or moment that His quality of service dropped, as a matter of fact, He kept stepping up His game day by day.

Heb 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” During the era of Moses, God made the children of Israel cross the Red Sea. When Joshua took over, He made them cross over River Jordan. Sir, if the quality of the service you render is always epileptic, then that’s a pointer to what you need to fix to get to your promised land. The children of Israel suffered extreme delay because they were not consistently obedient.

No matter how good you are at what you do, if you are not consistent, followership will drop. Proficiency without consistency leads to redundancy because reliability is a product of consistency. The moment the people saw that Jesus kept healing and feeding and doing wonders day in day out, they followed Him even into the bush.

Many business owners lose clients because they are never consistent; today they are great, tomorrow they are doing badly. Don’t just be diligent, be consistent. Remember you were made in the image and likeness of God and He is a consistent God, so you can’t be anything short of that.

Keep Soaring!

RETURN TO GOD

March 25, 2014

Of a truth, God has the ability to give unto us our desires without any stress, however, we need to understand that no medical doctor goes about knocking on doors asking, “Any patient in here?” It is the responsibility of the patient to find his way to the hospital and then he can be attended to.

In Luke 15, the parable of a certain man that had two sons was told. One of them went to his father to ask for his own share of the father’s properties even when the father was still alive. He got it, however, he wasted it and ended up penniless. After so much suffering and toiling, he came back to his senses and said in verse 18a, “I will arise and go to my father.” The moment he returned home, Bible says a welcome home party was organized for him.

Deut 30:2a says, “And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day.” 30:9 now says as a result of thy returning to God, “And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers.”

Job 22:23 says, “If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.” Verse 24 now says once you have done all these, “Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.” You have been forsaken because you have refused to forsake all those acts of iniquities.

God is never far away, you are the one that is moving away from Him.  Remember the earth is the Lord’s, so return to Him and He will make the earth yield bountiful increase for you.

Remain blessed!

THE WORD WORKS

March 24, 2014

John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” One of the things that God doesn’t joke with is His word. Bible says in Psalm 107:20 that “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” The word of God is the representation of God.

In Luke 19, Jesus sent two of His disciples to go into a village, and that on entering they would see a colt tied that no man has ever sat on before, they should lose him. He further told them in Luke 19:31 that, “And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.” Ordinarily, that was a case of theft but because the disciples understood that where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, what doest thou? (Ecc 8:4) they just went ahead.

The earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the faces in earth as recorded in Gen 1:1, however, the moment the word of God came forth that “Let there be light,” creative forces went to work and made light appear. Heb 11:3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

The word of God works wonders. In the face of hot challenges, the word you know determines how quickly you would get settled. Psa 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” For that man/woman that truly wants to enjoy the benefits that God daily loads us with; he/she must be a lover of the word of God. Remember that Bible says heaven and earth will pass away, but none of the word of God would go unfulfilled.

Have a great week ahead!

WHAT’S IN STOCK?

March 23, 2014

When a woman knows that she has enough food stuffs in her store, when others are busy going to the market every day, she doesn't bother herself because she has the understanding that there is more than enough in her storeroom. As believers, a lack of the understanding of what our God has in stock for us is the reason some keep running from pillar to post looking for what is available right there with them.

Listen to me, there is nothing that you need that’s not available in Jehovah. A songwriter said, He’s got the whole world in His hands. Psa 24:1 says, “The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” As a believer, you have so much great goodies in stock because Jer 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

I might not know all that’s in stock for you but I sure do know that the God that has the storeroom of rain and snow has so much in stock for you that you just need to trust Him that He will make all things beautiful in His own time. The woman with the issue of blood withdrew instant healing because she knew what was in stock. If you know what God has prepared for you, sir/ma, you will worry less.

I love what the disciples did when they faced a terrible storm; they went to Jesus to withdraw protection. In stock for you in God’s storeroom are wealth, health, healing, favor, deliverance, greatness, promotion and so many more. Psa 68:19 says, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits.” No matter your desire/request, God has it in His storeroom, so go to Him and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory through Christ. Amen!

Have a wonderful time in His presence!

PERCEPTION

March 22, 2014

On a very sunny day, a certain taxi driver was seen filled with uncommon joy and enthusiasm. Suddenly a passenger boarded his cab and on their way, the passenger said, “What a horrible sunny day. The weather is too hot and unfriendly. I just can’t wait for rainy season to come.” The taxi driver replied immediately, “It is such a beautiful sunny day, look at the sky so bright and everyone looking radiant and colorful in their different sunshades.”

Most times in life, as humans, we tend to see more of the negative side of life than the good part. Even believers that are meant to know more fall in this same trap. We have all forgotten that the way we see things determines the way we act/react and the result we get. Rom 4:17 says that God calleth those things which be not as though they were.

In Gen 1:1, Bible says the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the faces of the earth, but God saw light despite the thick darkness which was why when He said let there be light, it surfaced. I understand that it is difficult to say we are strong when it is obvious that our bones are failing even to the marrow, but I need you to understand that as believers, our job is just to believe and see what we desire and not what we are experiencing.

At the wedding in Cana, Galilee, when Jesus told the servants to serve the water, their mindset was in alignment with the word of God which was why none of them bothered to ask if the water had turned to wine because they understood they fetched water but saw themselves serving wine.

Do you notice that Jesus never asked any man, “What is your problem?” His question was always, “What do you want?” In order words, what does your mind see? Until you see right, you will never get it right in life. I see a colorful weekend ahead of you. Enjoy!

PERSISTENCE

March 21, 2014

Patience and persistence are virtues that are somewhat hard to find among believers these days. We want every our desires like yesterday, as such, any delay is an opportunity for us to find another way of getting it done. Some of us give God ultimatum, “Lord, if you don’t do it before tomorrow, I will look for another way of getting it done.” When dealing with God, we must be patiently persistent because God’s ways are higher than our ways and His timings quite different from ours but ultimately the best.

Hannah needed a child but it seemed God was on sabbatical concerning her case. In 1 Sam 1:7, Bible says she was always going to the house of the Lord year by year just to tender her one and only request but nothing happened. This was enough for her to say, “I am tired, God is no more on the throne, let me go talk to sorcerers and magicians maybe they can help,” but she didn’t, instead, she kept holding on to God and finally God answered her.

What is it that you have been asking God to make happen for you all these while, but it looks like, it is hard for God to do? Listen to me, Jer 32:17 says there is nothing too hard for God to do. How can the One that made the heaven, the earth, you and I and all that dwells here on planet earth have difficulty in making something come to pass? “Impossicant!”

Stop looking for another option, hold on tight to Jesus. In Gen 32, when Jacob wrestled with an angel, at a point his thigh got injured, and ordinarily that was enough for him to say, “I give up,” but he said, “I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” As a result of that day’s encounter, his name was changed.  I don’t care how tough it has been, be patient a little more because you are next in line for a miracle.

Shalom!

DISOBEDIENCE

March 20, 2014

King Saul was God’s elect.  In 1 Samuel 15:1, Samuel told him, “The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel.” However, on a particular occasion, God sent him to destroy the Amalekites until they are all consumed, but King Saul spared the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them.

This was an act of disobedience and as a result, Saul was rejected as king. Obedience, they say is better than sacrifice and to heed instructions is better than the fat of rams. Only a pilot who is on a suicide mission would decide not to heed the instruction of the control tower. As believers, we have commandments to obey, but some of us consciously disobey such commands.

For every deliberate disobedience of God’s commandments, there is a reward for it. Mal 3:10 says when you pay your tithe, the windows of heaven would be opened unto you, and the devourer would be rebuked for your sake, but when you don’t, I am sure we know the opposite is the case. Someone said that things are never tight for tithers, but tight eaters beg to eat. If you eat your tithe, why don’t you repent from today? Come to think of it, since you have been eating the entire 100%, your name is still not on Forbes’s list.

Rom 5:19 says, “For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” Some homes are suffering because of the disobedience of one member of the family. Jonah was the one that disobeyed, but he almost used his own disobedience to destroy the lives of the innocent people on that ship to Tarshish. In what way have you erred God’s commands? I urge you today, go back to God and straighten things out.

Remember that situations would never obey the man that disobeys God. Selah!

WHERE ARE YOU GOING?

March 19, 2014

In a children Sunday school class, the teacher asked the student, “why did Moses and the rest of the children of Israel walked in the desert for 40 years?” One tiny little boy stood up from nowhere and answered, “They were proud, as that they didn't want to ask directions and look like freshmen.”

The man with the greatest peace, health and wealth is that man that knows where he is going to in life. Direction in life is vital. Without direction, confusion is inevitable. Without a clear and precise description of where you are going to, frustration is inevitable. Someone said that if you do not where you are going to, every other place seem like a good place to go to.

I tell people that the fact that a young man that wants to become a medical doctor and now moving about and relating with an herbalist means he wants to become a doctor but not a medical doctor, rather a native doctor. Where you are going to in life determines who you move with and what you do with your time.

In Phil 3:13b - 14, Apostle Paul said, “But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” As for him, there was no time to waste going about doing non value adding task, there was a place he needed to get to, and as such he had to get serious about it.

To be great in life is to know where you are going and the only person that can show you clearly where you are meant to go is God. Proverbs 16:9 says, "A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps" No matter who or what you want to become, commit it to God andi see the world celebrating you pretty soon.

I KNOW TOO MUCH

March 18, 2014

In crime movies, when a man knows too much information, he becomes a candidate for murder just so that the info he knows could be buried. The Bible says in John 8:32 that, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” This is an information age and the more the info at your disposal, the better your life.

In Dan 3, the three Hebrew boys were asked to be thrown into the fiery furnace. For any ordinary man, this threat was enough to have shaken their faith, but they said to the king in verses 16 – 17 that, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand.”

In order words, they knew too much to be scared because they understand that the scripture says in Dan 11:32b that, “but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” The same way a sheriff would harass an ordinary citizen, he won’t be able to get away with it when dealing with a legal practitioner because the latter knows too much to be cheated. Knowledge of the God you serve and the promises available for you in Him and what He can do makes you stand tall no matter the trouble.

Job was in so much trouble, but he knew too much that he was able to tell his folks, “Don’t worry, today might be bitter, tomorrow would be better.” Sir, the solution to your frustration and confusion is having the right information – which you can only get from the word of God. When you are informed, no devil or demon can deform you. Start reading and meditating on the word of God and your life would take a dramatic turnaround. Remember that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

YOU ARE INVALUABLE

March 17, 2014

A water bearer had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master's house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. After two years, the cracked water pot spoke to the water bearer, "I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you for delivering only half my load and making you work extra time."

The bearer said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you've watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master's table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house. Now, aren't you glad you are a "cracked pot" too?”

God said in Jer 1:5a that, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee.” Moses thought he was useless because of his stammering nature, but throughout his journey, I never read a place where it was written that he stammered once while talking to the children of Israel or Pharaoh. Sir, I don’t care what your flaw is or are, I need you to understand that according to Deut 14:2, “For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.”

God never created any useless thing or being. Don’t try to change who you are because you are not just valuable, you are invaluable.

WISEST CHOICE

March 16, 2014

There is a tale of a man that died and when he got to heaven, he was asked to go to hell and also paradise to check which place he would love to spend his eternity. When he got to paradise, he saw everywhere paved with gold and houses painted in white. He could hear soft hymn-like music playing everywhere.

On the following day, he was taken to hell and there he saw everyone dressed in different colorful and gorgeous attires. With the loudness of the music and the feel of the atmosphere, he needed no one to tell him they were partying. So, the third day when asked to make his choice, he said as much as he would have loved to choose paradise, it was too quiet for him and that hell was not as bad as the preachers painted it, so he chose hell.

On arrival, he saw a different scene, men and women dressed in tattered clothes, heat everywhere, fire and brimstones falling from different corners. He was confused so he asked if it was the same place he came yesterday. The attendant at the door replied, “We were doing marketing yesterday, welcome to the real thing.”  Man is a product of his choices and for every choices made, there are different consequences.

Deut 11:26 says, “Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse.” The moment a man makes the wrong choice, he has just signed up for a life of frustration and automatically ends in the wrong place, however, the wisest choice any man can ever make is to choose to follow Christ.

The moment Simon and Andrew chose to follow Jesus, they got promoted to men fishers, on the other hand, the moment Judas chose to betray Jesus, he earned himself death. For every follower of Christ, goodness and mercy follows them around. Let your choice 100% of the time be Jesus because in Him alone is life. Have a great time in His presence today!

ACT YOUR FAITH

March 15, 2014

In Mark 5:28, there was a woman who suffered greatly in the hands of many physicians, doctors, herbalists, fake prophets, etc. and had spent all that she had; sold all her expensive jewelries; sold her landed properties; obtained several bank loans; so she could be healed of 12 years non-stop flow of blood.

She needed the healing. She was always going about with sanitary towels. Am sure she ran out of cash to buy sanitary towels at a point and started using ordinary napkins. “If I only I may touch the hem of His garment, I shall be well” said the woman in her mind. She had heard about Jesus; she had seen Jesus heal; she just witnessed Jesus raising someone’s daughter from the dead. She believed so much in the healing power of Jesus Christ.

However, she did not only believe that Jesus heals, she acted on her belief. She did not stop at the point of wishing she had touched, she went ahead to touch. She touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and the flow dried up instantly. KNOWING IS BELIEF, DOING THE BELIEF IS FAITH. Faith is an action word. It is filled with power.

Faith is the oil that makes the wheel of our gate travel smoothly. It is the key that opens the door of prosperity and favor without stress. Faith is more than believing. Faith is more than thinking, talking, or having convictions about Jesus. Faith is action. It is movement; it is activity. Faith is something you do. In fact, the Bible says in James 2:14, “If people say they have faith, but do nothing, their faith is worth nothing” (NCV).

Faith acts. It does something.  Before water came out of the rock, Moses believed but he still had to hit the rock with his rod. What God needs from you to release your miracle unto you is your act of faith. Every step of faith you take from today yields wonderful and groundbreaking testimonies in Jesus Name. Amen!

SPEAK LIFE

March 14, 2014

A man performed an experiment on two same breed of flower. He kept one flower pot outside in the open and kept the other pot inside his stuffy store. He would water the flowers the same way, but naturally, we all know that the flower placed in the open had a better chance of thriving than the one in the stuffy store.

However, this man would at every morning, noon and night, say to the flower in the open, “I am just watering you so people don’t see me as a wicked person, but the truth is that, I am so sure that you cannot survive.” He would go into the store and say to the other flower, “I had to keep you here so my neighbors don’t steal you, because you are precious to me and you are beautiful.”

At the end of the experiment, it was observed that the flower kept in the stuffy store was more beautiful than the one kept in the open. Whether we like it or not, the words that we speak are powerful. Little wonder, how you will tell a woman she is too fat and for the rest of her day, she would keep looking at herself in the mirror thinking of how to slim down. Words build.

Words are seeds and a powerful force. Yet that force can be positive or negative. The law of confession says that what you believe in your heart and say out your mouth is exactly what you will have in life. Mark 11:23 says that, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

God is interested in changing your story, but you must not keep quiet. Your must speak life and as you have said in His ears, so will He do unto you.
