COOL DOWN

I think the era we are in now is like the tensest era so far. This is an era where out of tension, people use drugs to make them sleep; make them stay awake; relieve weariness; assist with weight gain or weight reduction etc. You hear the word, “Under pressure” more than you hear the word, good day. Anger has suddenly become the most displayed emotion. Frustration isn’t farfetched.

In Exo 14, I love what Moses did. After the children of Israel got out of Egypt and were faced with the red sea, and right behind them were chariots filled with hungry looking wicked Egyptians. Out of frustration and anger, the children of Israel shouted, “Is it because there are no graves in Egypt, that’s why you brought us to come and die in the wilderness? Didn’t we tell you to leave us alone in Egypt? Did we complain to you?”

For me, their complaints were enough to make a sane man go insane, but Moses didn’t give a fuss. Why? Because he had seen all the things that God had done in the past, so that gave him enough and uncommon boldness to reply them that, “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

Had Moses fret, maybe he would have surrendered to the Egyptians, but he didn’t even pray before God came through for him. In the face of the storm, Jesus was sleeping. Friends, no matter what is happening, the first thing to do is to relax. Don’t kill yourself by worrying, after all worry would only bury you in deeper mess. Worry and nervousness is an indication of fear which is anti-faith.

Cool down sir/ma, God is still on the throne, so you are super covered.

OPEN MY EYES O LORD

Someone said it is one thing to have eyes; it is another thing to have seeing eyes. Recently, I played a game – Treasure hunt. At the final end of the hunt, there were two teams close to the treasure location – my team and another. The map indicated that the treasure was in the library but the library was not in the open. After going round and round for some minutes, suddenly, I saw the library and that was how my team emerged the winner.

In Gen 21, Hagar was at her lowest point in life. She had a little child with her and she was out of water. Out of frustration, she threw the baby under one of the shrubs and went afar just so she wouldn’t witness the death of the child. Bible says in verse 17 that after she cried, God heard her voice and in verse 19, God opened her eyes to see a well of water.

The well was there all the while but her eyes were not opened to see it. The moment she saw the well, her health and vitality got restored. Elisha’s servant was disturbed when he saw the host of army encamped against them in 2 Kings 6, but the moment the Lord opened the young man’s eyes and he saw the host with them, I am sure he would heave a big sigh of relief.

When God open your eyes, you labor less. When God open your eyes, you fear less. When God open your eyes, you go to the right place at the right time. When God open your eyes, you see aright. When God opened the eyes of Moses in Exo 15:25, a solution came to the bitter water problem in Marah. When your eyes are opened, you see what your mates cannot see, and you become empowered to do what they cannot even attempt to do.

In this season, your eyes would receive illumination from heaven in Jesus Name. Amen!

WHO CAN BE AGAINST ME?

There is a popular scripture that says, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” But the case that I have seen underneath the heaven is where believers are their own enemies. Many people fast and pray and yet remain the same not because God is too weak to answer them but because they have personally built a wall of barrier between them and God.

Elisha was Elijah’s servant before becoming his successor. Elisha also had a servant by the name Gehazi who was also meant to succeed him. I know this because one time he had a revelation of what his master didn’t even know of as stated in 2 Kings 4:14. As much as God was for him, he rose against himself through disobedience and became a leper instead of a prophet.

Judas Iscariot was Jesus’ treasurer. He was also one of those that were sent out in Luke 9. As a matter of fact, as stated in verse 1, Judas also had power to cure diseases and bind the devil but he was too careless about his own life that the same man that had authority over devils became a carrier of Satan.

Years back, I used to pray to God to give me money but the more I prayed, the harder it was for me to get money until someone opened my eyes to see that eating my tithe was the reason why I was lacking. The devil made tithe eating interesting to me then thereby robbing me of the benefits as stated in Mal 3:10.

Some other set of people are struggling in life because of adultery. Some other set are stagnant because of gossip. Some set have been asking God for the same thing for years yet no answer because they cause strife between friends. In what way(s) have you being your own enemy, make amends today and God will restore unto you lost glories in Jesus Name. Amen!

I REFUSE TO BE CHEATED

In a world where the god in charge is a thief, I am sure you wouldn’t expect anything short of robbery and cheating. In 2 Cor 4:4, the devil is referred to as the god of this world and the Bible calls him a thief as stated in John 10:10a that, “The thief (the devil) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”

However God said in Jer 29:11 that, “I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” And John 10:10b part says, “I (God) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” So I need you to understand that when you feel or are cheated, it is not God that is testing you, it is the devil taking advantage of your ignorance.

In 1 Chron 4, a young man’s life was ironical. Verse 9 say, “And Jabez was more honorable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, because I bare him with sorrow.” How can an embodiment of sorrow be referred to as honorable? But, one thing stood him out though, he understood that he has been robbed of a great life, as such, he went back to God and requested for a change of status and it was granted him.

How can you who claim to know Jesus be barren when the scripture clearly says none shall be barren? How dare you say you know Jesus and yet you go from pillar to post begging for money and job? Some things are not meant to be. Stand up in your spirit man now, and get back everything the devil has stolen from you.

Bible says when a thief is caught, he shall repay seven fold, therefore I command sevenfold restoration of whatever has been stolen from in Jesus Name. Amen!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

In life, I have observed that until you are tired of a low life, you won’t strive towards becoming successful. As long as you keep managing the situation, every part of you takes it that you are having a swell time and your subconscious goes on sabbatical, however, the moment you wake up and say, “I can’t take this no more,” every member of your body gears into action in order to move you to the next level.

In Gen 27, Bible says Jacob mischievously took Esau’s blessing. The blessing of that day made it that Esau would serve Jacob, but in verse 40 (NKJV), Bible says, Isaac blessed Esau and said, “It shall come to pass when you become restless (tired of your low life), that you shall break Jacob’s yoke from your neck.”

In order words until you become uncomfortable and sad about your present situation, change might not come. In 2 Kings 7, there was great famine in Samaria. Suddenly a decree came that things would change, but the change came only because four lepers became tired of just living from hand to mouth. They said to one another, “why sit we here till we die?”

In the book of Esther 3, a decree was made that any Jew seen should be killed. When Esther heard this, Bible says in Esther 4:16c that Esther said “I will go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.” In order words, enough is enough. It’s time for change.

Are you tired of your low life? Then get serious and cry out to God in prayer. Your cry of enough is enough would go farther when you have said enough of a sinful life.  Job 22:23-30 says when you embrace holiness, you will be prosperous and your prayers would be answered faster. These entire time that you have been lying and gossiping and fornicating around, has your life gotten any better? Enough Sir/Ma.

THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR ME

A certain young man went to a very renowned and powerful psychologist. “I am tired. There are just too many problems for me to solve. I want to get through with every bit of them. I don’t want any more problems – ever. Please help me.” The psychologist answered him, “I have a solution.”

He continued, “the othx er day, I was at a certain place to consult, the head man of that company told me that there are a hundred thousand people, and not a single one of them has a problem.” The young man cut in with some high enthusiasm, “Wow, please take me to this place.” The psychologist answered him, “It is the cemetery.” The man walked away.

That is the truth, only dead people don’t have problems or challenges – they are dead. Problems make life interesting and for some of us profitable. Sir, if some people don’t have problems, some other set of people would be broke today. If there weren’t sick people and sinners for Jesus to pray for and forgive respectively, then His ministry would have not been fruitful.

When believers are faced with one problem or the other, they quiver and run away forgetting that greater is He that is in them than the problems of the world put together. Jesus even said in John 16:33 that, “In the world ye shall have tribulation (difficulty, problems, distress): but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” In order words every problem contains the seed of its own solution.

I have come to realize that when God wants to lift His child up, He gives him a problem to solve. Joseph solved famine problem. Moses solved the persecution problem. David solved the Goliath equation. Jesus solved all manners of problems. For every problem you are passing through, there are others passing through it as well. As you are jobless, others are. As you are always looking for a good mechanic, others are too.

Father, make me a problem solver from henceforth in Jesus Name. Amen!

I CANNOT BE LIMITED

In some establishments, there are offices labelled as, “Restricted Area,” in order words, only authorized personnel can enter. Same way, the god of this world – the devil has also created barriers to limit believers from becoming who God has created them to be. But I want you to understand that there is no limit to who you can become. Limitation is low life. A limited man makes little or no progress.

A young man by the name Jabez in 1 Chron 4 understood that he was created to be large but born poor and with sorrow. Despite the fact that he was given birth to with sorrow, he cried out to God asking for unlimited enlargement. He was saying, I refuse to be limited. Bible says in verse 10 that God granted his request.

Sirs/Mas, listen to me, that you are born poor is not your fault, but it is your fault and your miss in life if you die poor. You have been created to live an unlimited life in all areas of your life. 3 John 2 say, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Don’t let any man confuse you; God is interested in your bigness. Many of us are like the king of animal – the lion in a cage. So limited!

It is a disgrace as a believer to lose your pregnancy or remain barren or be jobless or be broke. Why? In Psa 115:16, the Psalmist said, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.” You are to rule and dominate and command here on earth if you are sure you were born by a man. Stop enjoying small and low life.

Pray to God today, Father, by your mercy, please bless me in a way you have never blessed any man in my family, town, state, church or nation in Jesus Name.

DIVINE VISITATION

There are some visitors that when they come to your house, you are happy because they are profitable ones. Years back, there was this family friend that I was always eager each time I heard he was coming to visit us, reason being that, during and after his visit, my wallet and wardrobe never remained the same.

It is like the governor of a state paying a visit to a certain village; the villagers are assured that change has just come. As interesting and profitable a man’s visit might be, the most important and life changing visitation is the one by God. Job said in Job 10:12 that, “Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.”

When God visits a believer, all things start working for the good of that believer. Mary, the mother of Jesus was just like every other virgin in the land. Suddenly an angel visited her in Luke 1 and she became a history maker. I pray for you today that a divine visitation that will turn your story around happens today in Jesus Name.

The widow in 1 Kings 17 was preparing her last supper. She said, I just want to prepare this for myself and my son and then we eat it and die. Suddenly, a man shows from nowhere and said, “don’t worry, prepare the supper for me, and you shall never lack till rain falls on the earth.” As a result of the visit of Elijah to the home of that woman, she got enough food to eat that lasted her throughout the famine period.

When God decides to divinely visit you, lack turns to abundance; shame goes away; failure dies and the spotlight comes upon you. I decree that a visit from heaven that will change your story for the best happens today in Jesus Name. Amen! God Almighty will visit your home; your business; your body and your life as a whole in Jesus Name. Amen!

WATCH WHAT YOU SAY

What we say with our mouth is as important as what we do with our hands and legs. As a matter of fact, Prov 6:2 says, “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth; thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.” In order words, your words determine your captor. Words are very important in this journey of ours on planet earth.

In 2 Kings 7, a man of God made a decree that two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria. Suddenly the Economic Minister did some research and calculation and said, even if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? Instead of him to have kept it to himself, he used his words to earn himself untimely and undignified death.

In Num 13, when spies went to search out the land of Canaan, ten of them came back and said with their own mouth, we cannot enter that sweet land because they are stronger than us. At a point, they said they wished they had remained and died in Egypt. This made God say in Num 14:23 that, “Surely they (the other ten spies) shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers.” Your words determine your actions and what you get in return.

I know the economic situation of the world is not sweet as they keep saying in the news, but does that affect you? The word of God says God shall supply your needs (not your government) so while others in the same nation that you reside are saying there is a casting down, you are busy jumping about the street thanking God for lifting. Tell yourself, “Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world.”

I cancel every negative statement that you have uttered and now working against your life by the sure mercies of Christ in Jesus Name. Amen!

FAITHFULLY FEARFUL

There is a tale about someone questioning Mr. Death why he’s always going about killing people mercilessly. He replied, “80% of the time, people die because of fear of death.” Countless numbers of people have died whether physically, emotionally or mentally because of fear. Many young believers are dying today because of fear.

In the case of brother Job, Satan was granted permission to do what he wanted by Job. In Job 3:25, Job said, “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.” Job’s fearful life gave the devil a freeway to penetrate into his home and do some major damages.

Fear is the one of the main strategies that the devil uses in crippling the destinies of believers. We are living in an age of fear; fear of poverty; fear of sickness; fear of the unknown; fear of death; fear of failure, etc. However, I need you to understand that fear is not of God but of Satan, 2 Tim 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

I used to be a professional “fearer” until God opened my eyes to understand that fear kills. Fear of the Egyptians made the Israelites lose sight of who brought them thus far. Uncle David said in Psa 23:4 that, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” I get so worried when I see believers walking about in fear.

Fear is a spirit which should never be entertained because your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. I need you to get a revelation of your right in Christ and stop fidgeting at every little thing. Take your stand in Christ against whatever fear the devil brings your way. Sir, you can all things through Christ. Shalom!

PLUG IT IN

On a very hot day, plugging a fan into an electrical outlet activates the power of electricity and causes the fan to cool the air. However, if no one plugs in the fan, the fan won’t work and the room stays hot. In that case, the power of electricity is present and available to cool the room, but it is not being utilized or activated. It would be foolish of someone to say, this fan is not working when he didn’t plug it in.

In Mark 5, in the process of healing the woman with the issue of blood, Bible says Jesus knowing immediately that virtue or power had gone out of Him, looked around and asked, “Who touched My clothes?” The disciples answered, “Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, who touched me?”

You can imagine walking into the busiest passenger airport in the world and then turn around and say, “Hey, who touched me?” However, the disciples didn’t understand that there are touches and there are touches. Suddenly, a woman came from within the crowd and said, “I touched Thee.” Jesus must have said to them, “Didn’t I tell you?” He then said to her, “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”

It is a known fact that the power of God is ever present; however, it takes a touch of faith to activate that power. The power of God remains inactive until activated by faith. The moment it gets activated, every yoke gets broken. I am so sure that some other people would have touched Jesus out of curiosity but won’t get anything. Faith activates the power of God.

In every sick room, the power of God is there, the patient need to activate it by faith. In every poor home, the power to make wealth is there, the person need to plug his faith in. Whatever you are believing God for, mix it with faith and see God working on your case faster than normal.

THE NAME OF JESUS

The life of a thing is in the blood, so also the power of a thing is in the name. That is why when someone shouts “Snake” even if you didn’t see it, unconsciously, you would run away from that area. Sometimes some people would ordinarily not attend to you but by the time you go to them saying, “so so person asked me to come see you,” you easily attract the attention of such person.

In John 14:14, Jesus told the disciples, “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” What a sweet promise? Peter understood this despite his timidity which was why in Acts 3:2-8 when that man at the temple gate demanded for alms from him, Bible says in verse 6 that, “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Glory!

Apostle Paul said in Phil 2:9-11 that God hath given Jesus a name that is above every other name, so much that, at the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee SHOULD (not would), bow of things in heaven (angels), and things in earth (humans) and things under the earth (demons). Hallelujah. Sir, the reason why the devil keep tormenting you and making you a laughing stock in your environment is because you do not understand the potency of THE NAME OF JESUS.

The name of Jesus is a strong tower. The name of Jesus is powerful. Sir, the most interesting thing about the name of Jesus is that it is yours. A whole lot of us do not understand that it is a name that belongs to us. You are not to try and use it maybe it would work, NO! You are to use it because it works and because you a child of God.

As you go about today, knock on doors in the name of Jesus and I pray that as you are knocking on one, ten doors are opening in Jesus Name. Amen!

GOOD NEWS

January 21, 2014

When some men were sent to spy out a land and they came back with bad news in Num 13, Bible says that the entire congregation lifted up their voice and cried all night. Bad news is a destroyer of joy and a source of sorrow. Even when Joshua and Caleb tried calming them down in Num 14 by doing some motivational drills, Bible says the children of Israel thought of stoning them. Bad news makes the recipient bitter. I decree concerning someone’s life today that the last bad news you got shall be the last one you shall ever get in Jesus Name. Amen!

On the other hand, when a man’s wife comes home to say, “Honey, I am pregnant,” the man becomes happy because he just heard good news. Another thing that makes a man happy is to see his wife give birth safely. Good news brings joy. When a man that has been jobless for years gets called to come and resume for work at a multinational, he becomes the happiest man on earth at that point.

Pro 25:25 says, “As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.” In Gen 45, when Jacob was told that Joseph was still alive, he found it hard to believe but the moment he heard what Joseph’s message to him was, Bible says in verse 27 that the spirit of Jacob became revived. In order words, the good news gave him new strength. Little wonder how a person becomes extra active the moment good news is delivered unto him/her.

What good news are you expecting, the word of God says surely there is an end, but thine expectation shall not be cut off. Keep your faith life active and alive and I pray that the good news that will give you a newer and a sweeter name is released for you now in Jesus Name. Amen! As for you and your household, it shall be good news upon good news upon good news  in Jesus Name. Amen!

TRANSFORMATION

Years back, there was a certain friend of mine who was very very slim that I nicknamed him Slim. Suddenly there was a need for him to travel to another location for some few months. By the time he came back, if he had not called me by my nickname, I would never have known it was him. He has gained so much weight that I found it hard to believe it was him.

One outstanding thing about God is that when he is set to change the status of a man, He does it big. On a certain day, some men went to fish as usual but one of them was not making any catch at all for hours. However, when the Master of the universe stepped into the man’s boat, a dramatic turnaround occurred so much that everyone around him including his colleagues that were with him were astonished as written in Luke 5.

In the book of Gen 45, when Joseph could not hide himself from his brothers anymore he told them who he was and asked them to go bring his father. In Gen 45:26 when the father was told that Joseph was the Egyptian Prime Minister, Bible says he did not believe them. If it was me also, I would find it hard to believe because some years back he was reported dead, but now, a report just came that he was a commander in a foreign land.

Maybe you have been referred to as dead, done for, forgotten or nobody, relax; I have good news for you. 2 Cor 3:18 says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Sir/ma, I have come to inform you that by the power that turned water to wine, a transformation that would make you a transformer of lives is coming your way this season in Jesus Name. Amen!

DREAM KILLERS

Many people who are meant to be great in life today are going about as beggars and little men because their dreams have been killed and buried. As a matter of fact, it is not uncommon to see some group of people whose source of joy is to see one’s dreams and aspirations shattered and unrealized.

Young Joseph in Gen 37 told his folks he had a dream. In the dream he saw great men bowing down before him. This got his folks infuriated and they hated him from that moment, so much that they planned to kill him. However, because no man can tamper with the plan of God, they were used as catalyst to send Joseph to his land of dream come true. Every plan of the enemy to destroy your dream would turn out to be for your good in Jesus Name.

Zerubbabel’s dream was to rebuild the temple; however, a whole lot of oppositions arose. In Ezra 4, some came as dream helpers but Zerubbabel was sensitive and discerning enough to know they were evil which was why he politely refused their assistance. I pray that every evil association or satanic assistance targeted at destroying your dream be destroyed now in Jesus Name.

Sir, the world needs you. Bible says in Rom 8:19 that, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” You were formed and created to be a solution to your generation; as such you need to take charge of your dream else dream killers would send you to the pit and bury you for life. Apostle Paul said in 1 Cor 16:9 that a great and effectual door was opened before him, but there were many adversaries.

Some of your friends and family members are angry because of the size of your dream, but I decree your dreams and aspirations are covered with the blood of Jesus. I urge you to be more prayerful so your dreams don’t get killed. Have a fabulous time in His presence.

JESUS – THE ONLY SURE HELPER

In Mark 2, a man was sick of the palsy. Palsy refers to various types of paralysis. So, the man was a living dead. However, he had four friends (or maybe brothers) who were always carrying him around as I suppose. One day, they heard Jesus was in town, and they tried seeing Him, but the crowd was too much. Against all odds, Bible says these guys opened the roof of the house where Jesus was and let down the sick man. That was all they could do.

The lyrics of a song say, “Our help is in the name of the Lord.” We all need help at one point or the other. Sometimes, we turn to some people who we know ordinarily could help, but we get disappointed. However, I have personally come to understand that, it is not like those people didn’t want to help, they also need help.

Just like the man with palsy, many of us have things we need help with, but instead of going to people, go to Jesus. A man once said, stop looking unto me, I look unto Jesus too, so let’s keep looking unto Him together.

Man cannot help you if God does not help you. The Psalmist says, “I will lift up mine eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help.” In order words, he knew great people who were positioned at the top, but he still realized that his help was from none of them, but from the One that made the heaven and the earth.

The disciples demonstrated this when they were experiencing the storm. They didn’t bother to jump into the sea and swim away or call on a rescue boat, rather, they went straight to Jesus and said, “Help needed.” Stop going about looking for help from men, (except the Holy Ghost tells you to do so); go to Jesus – the only sure source of help.

I pray for you that no more shall you lack help in Jesus Name. Amen!

DIVINE REMEMBRANCE

For the word remembrance to be effective, the word forget had to be in existence. At one point or the other, we have met some very important set of people who we thought if only they remember us, things would be better than it is now.

Naturally, humans are wired to forget, not just things but their fellow man. In Gen 40, while in the prison, Joseph interpreted the dreams the chief butler and chief baker for free, but only demanded that the chief butler make mention of him to Pharaoh so he could be released, but the man forgot him for two solid years. So, let me tell you that your uncle, aunty, brother, sister or anybody can forget you.

The only person that can never forget you is the Almighty God. Isa 49:15 says, “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” In order words, no matter who has forgotten you, God said He will never forget you. Divine remembrance brings you to limelight. When you are divinely remembered, it becomes your turn to rejoice.

In Gen 32, Leah and Rachael were married to Jacob, yet Leah could bear children but Rachael couldn’t. However, in verse 22, Bible says, “And God remembered Rachael, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.” Rachael would have remained a barren had God not remembered her. When God remembers you, things begin to work for you for the best. No wonder, Rachael gave birth to the best among Jacob’s children.

Hannah would also have remained a barren had God not remembered her as stated in 1 Sam 1. In Exo 2, Bible says because of change in power in Egypt, the children of Israel came under severe bondage, but the moment God remembered them, He quickly hired Moses to help them. By the power in the name of Jesus, God will remember you for good today in Jesus Name. Amen!

YOU ARE EXEMPTED

Some years ago, I was trying to apply for American visa and while going through the requirements, I realized that some citizens of some certain countries were exempted from applying for a visa. In order words, they could enter the United States anytime. I felt bad. But then I realized that life is like that too. The same community where some are hungry, some are throwing away food.

Today, I have come to inform someone that it doesn’t matter what form of hardship and pain people are going through out there, as for you and I, it is peace and prosperity. Sir, in Gen 26, the same land where people were running away from because there was famine, Isaac sowed in that same land and he got a hundred fold harvests. He was on God’s exemption list.

Job 5:22 says, “At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh.” In order words, according to Job 22:29, when others are saying there is a casting down, you are busy giving thanks for multiple promotions. When others are crying there is no job, you are confused as to which job offer to take. You are not permitted to experience what the people of the world are experiencing, you are formed and fashioned to experience goodness and mercy and favor and honor and glory and lifting and prosperity.

I am telling you what God says not what I say. What I say can fail, as a matter of fact, I can say I didn’t say it, but what God says can never fail nor change because Num 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

I decree concerning someone today that from the list of untimely death in this year, you are exempted. You are exempted from shame, pain, lack, failure, disappointment, reproach and poverty in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

UNRIGHTEOUSNESS UNPLUGS

The scripture says in Ecc 9:4 that, “For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.” As long as a TV is plugged to power source, it keeps showing pictures and making sounds but the moment it gets unplugged, it goes off. That’s the same thing with sin; it unplugs you from your source – God.

Prov 14:34 says, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” It means sin is an open invitation to reproach and shame. Rom 1:18 says, “For the wrath (anger and displeasure) of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men.” What is unrighteousness? It means not upright, wicked, sinful, and evil and not in accordance with what is right or just e.g. fornication, deception, disobedience and all. Read Rom 1:29-32.

David was referred to as apple of God’s eyes. God so much loved him. However, as much as he was close to God, the moment he touched Bathsheba and planned the assassination of Uriah in 2 Sam 11, God became displeased with him. As a result, the son Bathsheba bore him became sick. David started compulsory fast and prayer just to seek the face of God but to show us that sin blocks God off one’s case, the boy died.

Do you know that your prayers would get answered faster when they are coming from a righteous soul? Prov 15:8 says, “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.” Hab 1:13 says, “God is of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity.”

You have a glorious future ahead; don’t let sin sink you into the mud. Don’t allow sin rob you of a great destiny that God has programmed for you. Repent today. Forsake every sinful act, they would only destroy you. Sin dethrones. The grace to live right always is made available for you today in Jesus Name. Amen!
