TITHING

Each time I read Malachi 3:10 -11, I appreciate God for always desiring that we as His children prosper. One of the fastest pathways to prosperity is tithing. Someone said that if you don’t want things to be tight for you, pay your tithe.

I heard of a story of a man that never paid tithe before in his life but on hearing that heaven opens when tithe gets paid, he quickly packaged his tithe and paid for the very first time. The man said that just three days later, he got a 26 week severance package and upon that God gave him a new and better job.

A whole lot of Christians are battling with poverty all because they either don’t pay their tithes or they don’t pay accurately. Tithe payers don’t struggle to pay their bills. God is not a man that He should lie so for Him to have said it that when you pay, He will open the windows of heaven for you means HE WILL! The most interesting part of paying one’s tithe is the fact that God said that your ROI will be much more than what you paid, to the extent that you will not have room enough to store your returns.

The best investment to make as Christians is tithing. It is a divine opener of the door of prosperity.

Years back, I would earn good money from my paid job and my businesses but by the tenth day of the following month, I would have started asking for soft loans from friends. This continued for months until the day I heard that tithing makes God rebuke the devourer for one’s sake. Friends, that was the day the tide turned.

God says you should try Him on the issue of tithe and see if He will not bless you. The bitter truth is that if you refuse to pay tithe to God, you will indirectly pay to the devil – hospital bills; mechanical fault with your car; emergencies that even makes you go borrow money etc.

I pray that your tight will open your windows of heaven and cause your desired blessings to rain down on you in Jesus Name. Amen!
