There was a particular time I needed something from God. I had prayed
about it but I felt within me the Holy Ghost asking me to do a prayer of
agreement. I thought it not to be really necessary but I had to obey, so I did
a prayer of agreement with my wife. Brethren that which I have been waiting on
God on for days, came easily after that prayer of agreement.
Indeed God wants us to have our prayers answered which is why He gave
us that secret in Matt 18:19 that “If two of you shall agree as on earth as
touching anything that they ask, it shall be done for them of my father which
is in heaven.”
There is nothing we can’t do when we agree together. The scripture
said if we agree as touching anything, it means no limit! Prayer of agreement
was prayed for Apostle Peter when he was jailed. The early Christians started
praying for him to be released and before they knew what was happening, Apostle
Peter was already released.
The prayer of agreement is like a contract. Once you agree with
another believer as touching anything, it means God will do it. For God not to
do it means that you both have to come together and disagree. The place of
agreement is the place of power. Once an agreement is signed by two parties, it
becomes binding. The two parties must also sign to terminate the agreement.
This prayer of agreement can and will work for you as long as you
fulfill the four conditions. One, there must be two people involved. Two, the
two parties must be on earth. Three, you must have a definite request. The
early Christians prayed that Peter be released not “Jesus, have mercy on
Peter.” Lastly, you both must agree. Can two walk (pray) together except they
agree?
I am not saying praying alone is not good, I am saying agreeing
together with another believer is better. One will put one thousand to flight,
and two ten thousand. That is what prayer of agreement will do. Practice this
today and I am waiting to hear your testimony in Jesus Name.
