Hallelujah!!! This is a great day in the life of someone reading this
devotional.
In the book of Matthew 27:62-66, the Chief priests and Pharisees went
to meet Pilate to request that the tomb where Jesus was buried be made as
secured as possible to avoid a case of Jesus’ disciples coming to steal his
body from inside the tomb. They then went ahead and secured the tomb sealing
the stone and setting a guard to be on watch.
We have all heard the resurrection story a thousand times and so
narrating the story over again might make us lose the excitement its meant to
bring. However, few spectacular things happened at the tomb.
Despite how tight the security at the tomb was, the stone was rolled
away supernaturally. This was the same thing that happened to Paul and Silas
when the prison gate opened on its own accord despite the tight security at the
prison. I don’t care where your enemies have boxed you into, but I have come to
tell you today that you are coming out in Jesus Name.
The first thing the angel did was to roll away the stone from the
tomb. When Jesus wanted to wake Lazarus up, He asked that the stone of the tomb
be rolled away. Every stone that the enemy has used in covering you from coming
out be rolled away in Jesus Name. Amen.
Jesus died that you may live; therefore, I rebuke untimely death over
you in Jesus Name. The two Maries came to see Jesus in the tomb but met an
angel who told them He is risen. I decree over your life that you are changing
levels from today in Jesus Name.
Mary and Mary Magdalene went to see the tomb but they saw that an
angel of the Lord had rolled away the stone from the tomb’s door. They expected to see the body of Jesus in the
tomb, but the grave was empty! You shall no more remain in that dead state. You
shall no more remain in that buried position. You are coming out now in Jesus
Name.
The same power that brought Jesus out of the grave is bringing you out
of the grave of reproach, shame, lack, failure, disappointment and hurt in
Jesus Name. Amen!
