ANOINTED FOR EXPLOITS

May 1, 2013
Something new is about to burst forth out of your life. It is quite different from what has ever happened in your life and through you. This season you will experience the new anointing for exploits.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38

Your ability to do exploit is by the anointing so you can stand out in every area of your life. It is not the qualification, or location or title but the anointing. You will find it as supernatural empowerment to solve difficult problems, defeat strong oppositions, and do the impossible. Don’t allow that power to lie dormant in you.

One great lesson from the book of Acts 10:38 is that Jesus did not go to sleep after the anointing, He went about looking for people to heal, deliver and all. This season, you will experience the NEW ANOINTING FOR EXPLOITS in Jesus Name.

The anointing makes the difference in the lives of every genuine child of God. When it came upon those heroes of faith, it made them do mighty exploits. When you see an anointed stone breaker, he does the breaking of the stone like he is doing no hard labor. Healing for Jesus was just like speaking because He was anointed to do so.

When you are an anointed child of God, you will be at the right place at the right time; say the right words to the right person and do the right thing at the right time. You become amazement to your peers.

In this new month, I decree upon you that the anointing of the Holy Ghost for exploits shall be poured on you in Jesus Name. Amen! From henceforth, you begin to great and mighty things in Jesus Name.

WALK IN VICTORY

April 30, 2013

God wants us to win. Friends, victory is sweet. Victory is lovely. Defeat is disheartening. The truth is that God’s plan is for us to walk in victory all the days of our lives. God wants us to be victorious and Satan wants us to be defeated. The choice is yours.

Whatever is born of God overcomes the world. (I am born of God and I overcome the world.) This is the victory that overcomes the world, even my faith. [1 John 5:4] Unless you aren’t born of God, which is the only condition under which you are allowed not to enjoy total victory in your life.

You were never created to be molested. You were not saved to be sick. It is not the will of God for you to be a regular patient in the hospital because healing is your birthright. To walk in victory, you need to be equipped with some spiritual weapons, one of which is the word of God.

The problem is that a whole lot of us desire to walk in victory that God has given us but we find it hard to read the word of God. Friends, one of the easiest and most effective ways to know the victory you have in God is to study them from the word of God.

Heb 4:12 says “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

I always say that the word of God inside of you will determine the world you will dominate. If you do not know that the word of God says that none shall be barren in the land, you easily swallow the report of the doctor that says that your womb is damaged forgetting that the report of the Lord says otherwise.

If you desire to walk in total victory in any areas of your life, you need to be a dangerous and addicted reader of the word of God.

I pray that no more shall you be an object of ridicule in the hands of Satan in Jesus Name. Amen!

LISTEN AND OBEY

April 29, 2013

One thing we all need to understand is that if we want God’s will to operate in our lives, we must be diligent and keep doing whatever He has made clear for us to do until He says otherwise.

Following God is like climbing a mountain. If God shows us how high the mountain is, we might be tempted to avoid taking the first step. It is like climbing the stair of a 24 story building. The first few steps are what you see and as you take more steps, you see other stairs and on and on like that until you get to the top of the building.

God is really interested in instructing us as His children, which is why the scripture says in Usa 30:21 “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”

But we must all understand that the second step to take will not be revealed if we do not take the first step. You don’t have to see the whole picture, once you are certain that it is God instructing you, take the step He is asking you to take.

Joyce Meyer told a story of a woman who came to her complaining that she was not hearing God anymore even though she has been seeking His face as regards a particular issue. Joyce said God asked her to tell the woman that there was no point speaking to the woman because the last thing He told her, she has not done it.

In the things of God, you cannot skip steps. If God is asking you to close down a business, it is because He is about to make you a business empire, but if you refuse to close that business, the empire will remain locked. We must sacrifice self-will to have God’s will. We must sacrifice our own ways to Have God’s way.

I pray God gives you hearing ears, and a trusting and obedient heart in Jesus Name. Amen!

BLESSED ARE YOU

April 28, 2013

In Luke 1:42, “And Elizabeth spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.”

Today, I have been asked to tell someone that you are a blessed land. It doesn’t matter whether you have been forsaken, ridiculed, disappointed or put to shame before now, from this moment henceforth, I welcome you into your unending season of unstoppable and unhinderable blessings.

A blessed person is a fruitful vine. A blessed person is a thriving land. Isaac was a blessed man as such even despite the fact that there was famine in the land, he sowed and reaped a hundred fold harvests.

What takes other people months and even years to achieve will only take blessed person days to achieve. To be blessed means you are empowered to be fruitful. It means nothing can die in your hands. It means you are not permitted to lose, fail or fall. To be blessed means you are a candidate for greatness.

In Genesis 12:2, God says  “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.” When God calls you blessed, He doesn’t just bless you, He turns you to a source of blessing to others.

Blessed people don’t beg to eat, they don’t beg to be employed, they don’t beg to spend. They are too loaded to be rubbished. To be blessed means you bear a mark on your forehead that says “BLESSED OF THE LORD, BLESS HIM” When you are blessed of the Lord, men will have no other option but to bless you even when they don’t feel like it.

From today, your name shall be called BLESSED BEING in Jesus Name. Amen!

REVERSING THE IRREVERSIBLE – 2

The second thing that happens when God is ready to reverse the irreversible situation in the life of a man is that He initiates a discussion. He will ask a question and you will answer and then the two of you will begin to discuss.

He will ask you questions like; “Can these bones live? Can this be ever possible? Can this ever come to reality? You will suddenly feel questions coming from the inside of you. Can I ever be healed? All that is needed at that point in time is just the grace to say the right thing.

Our God is a relational being. In Gen 18:9, when Abraham had a divine visitation. The next thing that followed was a discussion. They asked him, Where is Sarah thy wife? He responded, Behold in the tent. This question where is Sarah thy wife means where is your greatest challenge? Where is that which makes you worry the most? Where is that promise that is yet to come to pass?

God is asking someone this moment, where is that problem that you consider irreversible in your life? What is it that you want? I pray that you give him the right answer.

Look at what happened between Jesus and blind Bartimaeus. Jesus saw the man was blind, but because when the time for a seemingly irreversible situation to be reversed has come, a discussion ensues. Jesus asked the man, what do you want me to do for you. For goodness sake what else would he have wanted?

In John 5:6, Jesus saw a man that had been sick for 38 years and asked him, “would you be made whole?” A simple question it was but it had very big implication if not answered properly. That’s the same way God is asking someone today, “are you ready for your miracle?” I thought I was going to hear your thunderous Yes Lord!

What do you want God to do for you today? What dry area of your life do you want Him to turn around, why not ask Him now and I am sure that you are next in line for a miracle in Jesus Name. Amen!

REVERSING THE IRREVERSIBLE - 1

April 26, 2013

Our God is the One who is irreversible but reverses things. In the book of Eze 37: 1 -10, we read the story of how God took a man to a valley full of dry bones. When the man got there and saw the dry bones, He never thought in his mind that the bones could ever live again, but because he knew the God he was dealing with, he quickly said “O Lord GOD, thou knowest.”

When God is ready to reverse the irreversible situation in the life of a man, the first thing that happens is a divine encounter. God handpicked Ezekiel to go to the valley of dry bones because He knew that the valley could not go to Ezekiel. When God is about to perform a special miracle in the life of a man, he brings you in contact with someone who will be your own Ezekiel.

A woman shared a testimony of how she had been barren for twenty one years and was almost approaching menopause. Everywhere she went, she was told that she had some kind of ailment that would never make her get pregnant, but because the One that reverses the irreversible never created anyone barren, an encounter was arranged between her and her “Ezekiel”. She came in contact with a servant of God who prophesied into her life that she would soon be called an expectant mother. She took in two months after then and today she is a mother.

In the life of everyone of us, there is always a day that you meet somebody or somebody meets you that will initiate a process that will lead to the reversal of every seemingly irreversible situation in your life. I believe that for a reader of this devotional, that day has come for you in Jesus Name. Amen!

In the book of Luke chapter 5, there was a fisherman who had toiled all night and caught not a single fish. What a sad situation! Can you imagine a food seller in a big city mall in Lagos Nigeria recording no patronage for a whole day – that’s demonic right? But because whenever a change is about to come, an encounter precedes, Jesus saw two boats on the river but entered into Peter’s boat. We all know what happened later.

For someone, that divine encounter needed to reverse every irreversible situations in your life is initiated by the Holy Ghost today in Jesus Name. Amen!

GOD OF ALL POSSIBILITIES

April 25, 2013

One attribute of God that I like so much is that He is the God of all possibility. Whenever am been confronted by a mountain like task or challenge, the first thing I tell myself is that all things are possible with God.

I understand the fact that sometimes, looking at our current circumstances, it might be prett difficult to accept the fact that all things are possible. In the book of Luke chapter 1, an angel appeared unto a priest (Zacharias) to inform him that his wife was going to bear him a son. This was too much for Zacharias to bear especially going by the fact he was an old man and the wife was way past menopause.

Ordinarily, one would have expected that as a priest, he should have stronger belief, but he was a man like you and I and that goes to tell you that the sizes of our issues and challenges sometimes makes us forget the size of our God and what He can do.

Also, God’s friend – Abraham, had same issue. His wife’s menopause  was beyond what a remote control could autoplay and this made the wife find it difficult to comprehend when the angel came to tell them that they were expecting a baby.

I have come to tell you that there is nothing called difficult when it comes to dealing with God. Our friend Job lost all that he had and ordinarily it was difficult if not impossible for a man in such a dilemma to make a comeback, but because God was involved, Job did not only make a comeback, he made a loud and interesting comeback.

With man, it might be impossible, but with God, all things are possible. Erase impossibility from your mind. All things are possible, as in ALL THINGS. In the all things is a new job, a new car, a new home, a loving spouse, breakthrough, success, favor etc.

For you, all things shall be made possible for you in Jesus Name. Amen!

GREAT PROMISES

April 24, 2013

One thing about our God is that He is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (Num 23:19) Psa 138:2 says “for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”

In the word of God are great promises that as believers we are not permitted to be molested or ridiculed by anyone anytime.  In the book of Acts 28, Apostle Paul was bitten by a viper, but because Jesus Has already said “They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them” great Apostle felt no harm and just shook off the beast. When the people around him saw that the snake bite was nothing, they tagged Paul a “god”.

Friends, if there is anything worth storing in our memories, then that has to be the promises of God for us as believers, which we can dig up from the word of God. Joshua 1:8 says “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

The amount of the word of God inside of you determines the extent to which the world will answer to you.

I used to be a boil patient. It was so terrible that it was a monthly thing and it would surface in places that are not nice; in my ears or in my nose. The pain was always unbearable until one day I stumbled upon a verse that says “I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.” (Exo 15:26) and I remembered clearly that boil was one of the plagues that the Lord inflicted upon the Egyptians, so I claimed my healing and that was the end of the boil thing.

Whatever it is you need has been catered for by the word of God already. It is left for you to dig and claim. May the Lord open your eyes to behold wondrous things out of His word in Jesus Name. Amen!

HOLY SPIRIT AND PRAYER

April 23, 2013

Prayer is an awesome privilege and an awesome responsibility. However, in this important task of praying, the Holy Spirit helps us in two ways: He helps us when we pray, and He helps us by praying for us.

There is a marvelous way to pray mentioned in the word of God. It is called praying “in the Spirit.” Honestly for me, I see it as the only way to pray. Jude 1:20 says “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” Eph 6:18 says “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit”

I enjoy praying in the Spirit because that way, the Holy Spirit allows to experience His power and His presence. Not only does He make His power available to us when we pray, He also prays for us! Romans 8:26 says “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

This means that the spirit “helps” as in keeps on helping – He doesn’t stop helping us, He’s always at our aid.  Don’t let your circumstance or the trouble you are going through keep you from prayer, The Holy Spirit is waiting to plead your case before the Father. The Holy Spirit is your advocate.

Sometimes we think we have the right word to pray, but by the time you ask the Holy Spirit to help you pray, you will start praying in a way that is beyond your own understanding. No matter how well you have organized your prayer life, chosen the words to say and all, if you ignore the part played by the Holy Spirit, you will only be praying amiss.

When The Holy Spirit is involved, you will be asking what is on the mind of God for you, because He will reveal things to pray for to you.

My prayer for you this morning is that The Holy Spirit will from today pray for you, pray with you and pray through you in Jesus Name. Amen!

THOU SHALL NOT FAIL

April 22, 2013

One thing I have come to realize is that it doesn’t take God ages to turn a man from a failure to an international success story. O-bed-Edom was a nobody until somehow the ark of covenant found its way into the man’s house and that changed his story forever.

Failure is a blemish. It turns you to an object of reproach and mockery. Believe me, you were never created to fail. It was never God’s wish right from creation that you fail. Gen 1:26 says “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth”

We all need success in various areas of our lives, whether you are a job applicant, a business owner, a home owner, a pastor, a teacher or a student. Success is sweet. Success is like magnet, it attracts good unto you. Everyone wants to associate with success.

From today, success becomes your heritage. From today, failure departs from you forever in Jesus Name. When the children of Israel left Egypt and they saw that Pharaoh was still pursuing them, they became afraid. They told Moses that he had failed and was a big disappointment to them all, but because Moses knew that with God, it was and it is impossible to fail, he was relaxed enough to tell them to fear not.

Isa 62: 3 -4 says “Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.”

In other words, you are an embodiment of success. You are wired to succeed. Failure is not your portion. As you go into this week, I decree concerning you, you will rejoice. You will be celebrated. You will record great success in Jesus Name. Amen!

FAITHFUL TITHER

In Malachi 3:10, we read “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

It is one thing to pay tithe, it is another to pay if faithfully. Faithful tithing is when you give God 10% of everything that God gives you. I am not talking about your monthly salary alone, but this includes all blessings that come into your hand. Don’t get me wrong, paying 10% of your monthly salary is regular tithing, and paying 10% on everything that God gives you is faithful tithing.

This means that when you are been given a pair of shoes as a gift, you ought to tithe it. Someone just asked, but it is a gift and how do I tithe such? Remember God did not say that you should bring tithe only on your monthly salary, He said all the tithes. So value the pair of shoes and pay the tithe on it, that way you are saying “God, the more You give me, the more You get in return.”

As a matter of fact and duty, you ought to tithe your days, this means that 2hrs 24mins of your time should be given back to God through studying His word, fellowshipping with Him, praising Him and communicating with Him. When you tithe your day, you are telling God, give me more days and they shall be yours. Tell me, wont you live long?

In Gen 14:20 we read that Abraham gave tithes of all that God gave to him. In Gen 28:22, Isaac said “and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.” Because of that, Abraham and Isaac were blessed beyond human comprehension.

Maybe you have been a regular tither all these while; it is high time you stepped into another level of financial partnership with your maker by becoming a faithful dogged tither by paying tithe on everything that enters into your hand in the form of earning of gift.

As you do this, God will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field in Jesus Name. Amen!

YOU CAN MAKE IT

April 20, 2013

Recently I watched a movie titled Pride featuring Terrence Howard and Bernie Mac. It is a movie about some troubled, downtrodden teens been enlisted into the first African – American swim team and compete in the state championship meet. On getting to the championship venue, every other person was white except the black team. This made them lose their first challenge.

On getting back home, their coach – Terrence Howard looked at all of them and told them that “You wanna know what I know, it is that you are a team of some talented Negros but there is something inside of you that made you lose – fear and intimidation. But I know that you can make it because you are a better team.” The rest of their championship feat is history as they won the championship despite all barriers they faced.

Today I am come to challenge someone into believing that you are not limited unless you limit yourself. You are not disadvantaged unless you disadvantage yourself. You are not a weak one. Your academic qualification might determine the type of job you get but it doesn’t determine where you get to in life. Dan 11:32 says “but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

You are permitted to fail or lose, if the God you serve can fail or lose. If your God is Elshaddai the Almighty God, then you can never fail. My brother, my sister, please if you have written yourself off before as a no fit,  if you used pencil to write it, erase it off now and if you used a pen, please burn the paper now because YOU CAN MAKE IT. YOU CAN BE WHO YOU WANT TO BE.

There is no mountain too high for you to climb. There is nothing called impossible. Matt 9:23 says “all things are possible to him that believeth.” The first thing is to believe you can have whatever you want to have.

Psa 24:1 says “The earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” The simple interpretation of this is that, you can make it in life as long as you are God’s property. Say with me “I refuse to be limited; I refuse to be downtrodden because I can do all things through Christ in Jesus Name. Amen!”

THE ANOINTING -2

April 19, 2013

The anointing is God's presence by the Holy Spirit. The anointing is God's Spirit and power for service in this earth. Jesus has provided the same presence of the Holy Spirit for us in our earthly ministries that He had in His earthly ministry!

It is that divine energy that comes upon you and separates you from yourself and fills you with His power! As a result, when you speak, it is like God speaking…and when you act, it is like God acting.

The anointing upon Jesus made professors ask "what wisdom is this?" The anointing makes you wiser than your teachers and contemporaries.

If you're "in Christ," there's an anointing for everything you're called to do, no matter how small or how great the task. That's what the Apostle Paul meant when he said, "I can do all things through Christ (the Anointed and His Anointing) which strengtheneth me" (Philippians 4:13).

Notice that he didn't say "who strengtheneth me" but "which strengtheneth me." He was talking about the anointing. The same anointing that enabled you to be born again will heal your body, help you succeed in business, and empower you to prosper spirit, soul, body and in every aspect of your life. (See Luke 5:20-24.)

If you're in the Anointed One, then you're in the anointing. If not, quickly retrace your steps back because it is highly dangerous when you are not covered by the Anointed One as you become an easy target for the devil.

God's anointing upon you shall never run dry in Jesus Name. Amen!!!

THE ANOINTING -1

April 18, 2013

We are living in a day and time where everyone wants to accomplish great things in life. Everyone is chasing after success and power. The desire to be famous, rich and powerful is paramount on everyone’s mind. Even in the church, people have a strong desire to do the will of God on earth for themselves; the zeal to be a useful vessel for God is heavy on the mind of the children of God.

But one thing that we all need to understand is that accomplishing anything on the face of the earth is never going to be by our own power or strength. Zech 4:6b says “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” Without the anointing, you will be among the rest, not among the best.

The anointing is an empowerment from God through the Holy Spirit which makes the believer to be fruitful, fat, powerful, conquering, successful, impactful, resourceful, spiritual and blessed to accomplish God’s purpose and plan for your life, for the spiritual growth, development and strength of others on earth. The anointing transforms you from natural to supernatural. It transforms you from timid to bold, weak to strong, fearful to faith-filled. It changes your entire status.

Acts 10:38 says “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” The anointing made the difference in the life of Jesus. We are no more effective than we are anointed. The good you will do on earth is a product of the anointing of God upon you.

Isa 10:27 says “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” The anointing can remove that burden of debt, sickness, emotional trauma, pain, sorrow, etc placed on you.

Father, anoint me afresh this moment. Anoint me for greatness and impact on planet earth in Jesus Name. Amen!!!

FORCE OF ATTRACTION

April 17, 2013

Force of attraction is that force that draws one object towards another.

In the book of Matthew 9:28a, “And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him:” This is a story of when Jesus was been followed by two blind men. They followed Him to the extent that every house He entered, they also entered. We do not know if they had someone showing them the road or not. The only thing we know is that they kept following Jesus.

Power is a force that attracts vessels anyhow anywhere. Those blind men kept following Jesus because He had power to heal them. The woman with the twelve years issue of blood did not leave Jesus alone because she knew that Jesus had the power to heal her. Namaan went to locate the prophet for healing because the prophet had the “power” to heal him. If you are powerful, you will attract vessels.

Clients don’t patronize you because they like you; they do because they know that you have a solution to their problem. Patients don’t go to hospital just to go and see the beautiful face of a nurse; they go there because they know that the nurse will give them medications that will make them well. Clients will locate you wherever you are and pay you whatever amount you demand as long as you solve their problems.

Don Moen does not need you to like his face before you like him. Lionel Messi does not have to campaign for you to become his fan. They are knowledgeable in what they do, and that has become a powerful force that has attracted kings and queens into their destinies. Prov 18:16 says “A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”

What you can do with what you know will determine the kind of things and the caliber of people you will attract into your life.

My prayer for you today is that in your chosen field, you will begin to attract kings and queens to you in Jesus Name. Amen!
