Lack of preparation is an invitation to frustration
and sometimes failure which is why someone said that the man that fails to
prepare is preparing to fail. Evidently, we all know that Christ is soon coming
back to take His people with Him, but the question is are you ready? Are you
prepared for His coming?
A Nigerian adage says, “We are visitors here on
earth, heaven is our home.” We all know that one day someday, we will depart
this sinful world and stand before our maker to give an account of how we have
lived our lives. Heb 9:27 says, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die,
but after this the judgment.” On your day of judgment, what would the verdict
be?
If the trumpet should sound tomorrow, what would the
Father say to you; welcome thou faithful servant or I know you not? In all your
dealings, be heaven conscious because the devil’s greatest joy is to see you in
hell – I pray that won’t happen in Jesus Name. Amen! Remember that no man
knoweth the hour that He would come so righteousness has to be your watchword
every second.
Don’t let the love of money send you to hell. Don’t allow
fornication and adultery enlist you for hell. Don’t allow gossip and backbiting
and envy drag you to hell. Sir, I have not been there and I am not going there but
I know hell would be very gory and terrible because Bible says there shall be
weeping and gnashing of teeth there. Remember there is no going back.
Psalm 1:5 says, “Therefore the ungodly shall not
stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.” I urge
you, give your life to Christ if you haven’t, if you have backslidden, please
come back to Jesus. No matter how dirty you might think you are, He can wash
you clean. Tomorrow might be too late.
Be wise!
