There is a
story about a man polishing his new car when his 6 yr old son picked up a stone
and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's
hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench. At the
hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures.
When the
child saw his father.....with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers
grow back?' The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and
kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions.......sitting in front
of that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written 'LOVE YOU
DAD'.The next day that man committed suicide.
Anger and
Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life.
Scripture says anger lies in the bossom of fools. When we are angry; we utter
some statements that we would later wish we had not uttered; some of us would
do some things that we would forever live to regret.
I love the
saying that don't take any decisiom when angry and never make a promise in your
happiest moment. Have you ever sent an SMS or email in an angry mood, I am sure
you would wish you never sent it. Moses didn't get to the promise land because
of anger. I know its pretty difficult not to scream or bring the wall down out
of anger, but always note that anger destroys, love builds.
I pray that
anger will not destroy us in Jesus Name. Amen!
