One day a king and one of his slaves went hunting & along the way
a wild animal attacked the king. His slave managed to kill the animal, but
could not prevent his majesty losing a finger.
The furious nobleman said: "Is God good? If He was good, I would
not have been attacked and lost my finger."
The slave replied, "My king, I can only tell you that God is good
and He knows the "why" it happened." Outraged by the response,
the king ordered his slave to be jailed.
Later, the King left for another hunt (this time without his usual
partner - the jailed slave) and was captured by savages who made human
sacrifices. He was taken to the shrine, and at the altar, ready to sacrifice
the noble; the savages discovered that the king had lost one of his fingers
which made him incomplete to be offered to the gods. That was how they released the King.
Upon his return to the palace the king told the slave, "My dear,
God was really good to me! I was almost killed by savages, but for lack of a
single finger, I was let go! But I have a question: If God is so good, why did
He allow me to put you in jail?"
The slave smiled and said, "My King, if I had gone with you in
this hunt, I would have been sacrificed, because I have no missing
finger."
So funny how sometimes we as humans fault God's handiwork forgetting
that nothing is random and that everything has a purpose.
God can never, and will never make mistakes.
There is a reason why you are short. He knows why you were created a
man. God knows why you were created an African. He is the all knowing God. Stop
feeling imperfect, a perfect God can never create an imperfect creature.
May the perfect God perfect all that concerns you in Jesus Name.
Amen!
