In the book of
2Chronicles, a great multitude arose against Jehoshaphat. It was so terrible
that the king feared. Suddenly someone arose and said Be not afraid nor
dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. God ended up giving them
the needed strategy to win the battle.
Also in the book of
1Sam 17, David was faced with Goliath – a fearful giant and acclaimed warrior.
I am so certain that David’s father would have started preparing for David’s
burial as they all thought he was going to get killed by Goliath, but David
understood that the battle was not his, but the Lord’s. David ended up killing
Goliath with a stone.
When the Lord is
the one handling your battle, every item in your hand becomes a weapon of mass
destruction.
In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good
cheer; I have overcome
the world. In order words, troubles, tribulations,
challenges or trials shall arise, but be not dismayed because the Lord is handling
it.
Never allow the size of your problem trouble you because you have a
God that is bigger than any trouble.
If we are ever going to record any breakthrough or victory on planet
earth, then we must hand over the battle unto the Lord. He is the only person
that cannot fail you. Men can fail, but God cannot. He has never lost any
battle. He even defeated death.
What is it that’s troubling your soul? What is making you so fearful?
Fear not, the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s.
However, we need to remember that a dog will not defend the children
of a goat from being eaten by a fox.
If the Lord must fight your battle, then you have to be His. My
question to you this moment is “are you truly a child of God?”
If you are not, take a moment and ask Jesus to be Lord over your life
and as you do so, He will fight your battle for you in Jesus Name. Amen!
