Some of us
have been trained since birth to speak negative, death dealing words. Unconsciously,
in our everyday conversation, we use the words death, sickness, lack , fear,
doubt and unbelief.
“That scared
me to death.” “I am dying to meet you.” “I am just so sick and tired of life.” “We
just can’t afford it, it’s too expensive and not for people like us.” “With
this regular headache, I think I am going to have malaria/flu.” By using the
tongue, Satan controls the circumstances of life. First, he plants the negative
thought/evil into the mind, and then as they are dwelt upon, they drop down to
spirit; and finally out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth will speak.
Mat 6:31 says,
“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink?
or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?” First, you take the thought, then you say
it over and over, and then Satan holds onto it to operate. Sometimes, God wants
to bless us, but our words hinder His operation in our lives. God is saying I want
to make you wealthy, but you are busy confessing with your mouth that it is difficult
to get blessed considering the economy of your nation. Who made your nation
sir?
In Mal 3:13,
God said, “Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say,
What have we spoken so much against thee?” We say things without even realizing
it. Bible says whosoever shall say to this mountain, irrespective of the person’s
height or color, shall have what he said as long as he hath faith. Remember salvation
cometh not without confession.
Sir, enough
of negative words, if you cannot help but say negative things, then shut up
rather than cripple your own destiny. Every negative utterance that has gone
out of your mouth and now working against you, I cancel the effect over your
life in Jesus Name. Amen!
