There is a story in Exo 2 about the
conception and birth of Moses. Before then, Pharaoh commanded all his people
that every son that is born shall cast be into the river, and every daughter shall
save alive. As a result of this, Moses’
mother hid him beside the river bank and asked the sister to stay afar off to
know what would happen.
Suddenly the daughter of Pharaoh came down
to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side;
and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it. At that
point, Moses sister said to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a
nurse of the Hebrew women and Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go.
The girl went and called the child's
mother. And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse
it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and
nursed it. Moses’ mother ended up getting paid for doing what was meant to be done
for free.
In the journey of destiny fulfillment, positioning
is key. Maybe if Moses’ mother had kept him in some other place apart from the
river bank, there would have been some delay in Moses journey. Zacchaeus knew
the essence of positioning when he climbed up into a sycomore tree to see Jesus
which was what gave him the access to having Jesus abide in his house.
There is a place to be per time, however if
you are not well positioned, you would miss out on what God has in stock for
you. There were ravens at brook Cherith waiting for the arrival of Elijah, if
the man of God had gone to brook New Jersey, I am sure he would have suffered
prophetic hunger. I pray that where you ought to and when you ought to be there
shall be made clear to you in Jesus Name. Amen!
