To be singled out means to be separated for glory. It means there are
others, but you are just been chosen over them, not because you are better than
them, but because God just decided to single you out.
Luke 4: 25-27 says “But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in
Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six
months, when great famine was throughout all the land; But unto none of them
was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a
widow. And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and
none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.”
Rom 9:15 says “For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will
have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” So basically,
we all need to understand that to be singled out for favor, healing or lifting
is not a product of your righteousness, but a product of mercy. That’s why that
man said, if the Lord does not build the house, the builders build in vain.
Friends, when you are singled out, you labor less. You struggle less. All
things begin to work together for your good. You begin to achieve things with
uncommon ease. Was Mary the only virgin in that land? NO! Was she the only Mary
betrothed to a man named Joseph? Maybe NO! But God singled Mary out to be the
mother of our savior.
God doesn’t single out for no reason. He singles you out for honor. He
singled David out of the sons of Jesse just to lift him up. That is why He is
called the lifter up of your head. When He singles you out, you become everyone’s
favorite. Your product becomes a must use for all. You become a voice to be heard
in the land. Your store becomes the only store to buy things.
My prayer today is that anywhere you are found, God will single you
out for favor unimaginable in Jesus Name. Amen!
