I am sure you have heard it more than a million
times that there is a purpose why we are all here. There is a task that the
Father wants each and every one of us to take care of. I tell people that we
are all puzzle pieces, we make the game complete. I am sure you have at one
time or the other enjoyed good music in church, and that is because the
drummers, keyboardist, saxophonist, guitarist and every other musicians were
present and doing what they know how to do best.
When Jesus released Himself to be crucified, some
people said in Luke 23:35 that, “He saved others; let him save himself, if he
be Christ, the chosen of God.” They wanted Jesus to still remain with them, but
they had forgotten that there was a certain purpose for which He was sent here
– to die for the sins of the world. Jesus said in Matt 26:53 & 54, “Thinkest
thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more
than twelve legions of angels? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled,
that thus it must be?”
Do you know that many of us are still running after
money and other material things of this life at the expense of our purpose?
Sir/ma, there is always divine provision for every God-ordained commission.
Jesus went about fulfilling purpose and in turn, He would sleep in the large
upper room (presidential suite I suppose), ride in a special boat (boat with a
pillow) and other small boats would be around just in case one breaks down,
ride on a new donkey, have so many fans and followers. At a point, they wanted
Him to become their king, but He fled.
Would you like to be great in life? Do you desire
fame and affluence? Would you like to bring smiles on the faces of people? Fulfill
purpose and you will accomplish all of these and more.
