There is
nothing as great as having someone fight your battle on your behalf. The
greatest part of it is having the Almighty God, the Mighty Man in battle take
your battle upon Himself – victory is certain. How did I know? Because the Lord
has never lost and can never lose any battle.
The children
of Israel thought they had finally escaped from Egypt only to discover that Pharaoh
and his horsemen were pursuing them. This was heartbreaking for them, it was a
lost battle. They wished they didn’t leave Egypt, Bible says, they were sore
afraid. However, Uncle Moses understood that the same God that plagued Egypt
was still on the throne. He said, guys, relax, The LORD shall fight for you,
and ye shall hold your peace and indeed. God fought for them.
God is
interested in fighting your battles for you. The sad thing is that most of us
prefer doing it our ways than handing over the battle to God. Saul equipped
David with some gadgets of war. David told the king, “Sir, I’d like to use
these stuffs, but I have never tested them. I have a tested and trusted fighter
that killed a lion and bear using my small bare hands, so please let me hand
over the battle to him.” Bible says, with a small stone, giant Goliath fell,
because when God is fighting your battle for you, no matter how small your
stature or weapon is, victory is certain.
It is worthy
of note that the only set of people with the assurance that God will fight for
them are those truly of the household of faith. because Israel rebelled against
God, Deut 1:42 says, “And the LORD said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up,
neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.”
Sin takes God off your battle ground while righteousness makes God take your
battle personal.

victory is yours always in Jesus Name. Amen!
