HE CHANGETH NOT

The lyrics of a worship song goes thus; “Ancient of days, as old as You are, You will never change.” What a well thought-out lyrics. Our God is the only unchanging changer. He is the only immovable mover. Humans change, but God doesn’t. The scripture says in Heb 13:8 that, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”

Despite the death of Moses, the covenant and promise God gave him didn’t die with him. In Joshua 1:3, God spoke unto Joshua that; “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.” In order words, the leader might have changed, God’s word is everlasting.

Psa 102:25-27 tells us that the earth shall perish, but the Lord shall endure. “all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed. But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.” God even said it in Mal 3:6 that, “For I am the LORD, I change not.”

That’s the assurance that I am here to give someone that it doesn’t matter what the matter is the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations. The same God that healed the woman with the twelve years issue of blood is still alive – He hasn’t changed.

The same God that parted the red sea hasn’t changed. The One that brought money out of the mouth of a fish hasn’t changed. The One that stilled the storm has not changed. The One that raised Lazarus from the grave after four solid days has not changed. The One that said even if your parents forsake you, He will never leave you nor forsake you hasn’t changed.

I decree concerning someone that you shall encounter the unchanging Changer this season in Jesus Name. Amen!
